I need a replacement for my line 6 amp!!
by jhduque on 2012-02-18 20:26:13

The Last year, in July I bought a line 6 amp "spider 3 HD150" at  "Daddy's Junky Music" shop, in Porsthmouth NH, but is now closed. Currently I am in QUITO - ECUADOR - South America and I found a support center authorized line 6 (called IMPORT MUSIC STORE), to fix a damage on my amplifier, but can not get the spare is needed, because I do not buy the amplifier here in Ecuador, and the people of the store are trying to get it but they can´t.!

What should I do then?, How I can get the part I need??
thanks!

Attached are the numbers of part Amplifier Spider III HD LINE6:

POWER AMPLIFIER: # 35-00-0221

POWER SUPPLY: # 35-00-0222

Do you have any relatives or close friends here in the Continental U.S.? Also, was this Spider III HD150 sold to you from Daddy's as a new "factory sealed" unit; do you also still have the receipt?

Thanks for responding, first I do not know anyone in the U.S.  only because I was in a work program for college students. Unfortunately the bill of purchase and I have not, and the amplifier was used, on the other hand, I bought the amp with my personal data to Daddy's Music Shop in Portsmouth NH, but I tried to contact them to get a copy receipt by mail, but I just found out that the place has closed. I bought the amp in July last year and without the parts, here in my country the amplifier I can´t  use it for nothing.

What should i do?

I understand... unfortunately I didn't know initially that your amplifier was a "used" sale. Normally, if you lived in the continental U.S., I'd direct you to try purchasing the parts through Avalanche Pro Audio online: http://avalancheproaudio.com/2801.html but there's no mechanism to ship overseas, which is why I asked you whether you know of friends/family in the U.S. If you did, you could have the parts purchased and sent to them and work out the logistics of shipping you the parts. We don't ship internationally... for overseas customers, they have to purchase replacement parts through the Distributor in their country of residence.

The Line 6 Distributor in Ecuador is:

Casa Musical Nunez

Thank you very much, I understand the process to follow. It's a bit incredible, but my amp is currently in the technic support office  of Casa Musical Nunez  (or Import Music store.. is the same store) ... for almost 5 months ... and they said they have waited long enough for the replacement, and which unfortunately does not reach them .. for that reason I'm trying to get it personally.

Is there any way to do track my order placed through  Casa Musical Nunez store?... because they told me they had no response to the request and for that reason have not received it.

Is there anything I can do to help to get the parts in the shortest time possible?

Thank you very much
