Idea: A poster with all modeled guitars
by cbourbou on 2012-02-27 06:01:12

Hi all

Enjoying my JTV-59 since a couple of weeks. My idea:

The modeled guitars are listed in the user manual, but in a rather small scale and on different pages.

Would love to have a well-arranged, colorful and bigger representation of all the modeled guitars, on one page.

Something I can download and print on A3 and put on  the wall for easy reference (and to brag about this marvelous product).

IMO also nice (and affordable) advertising for Line 6 Variax.

And if you allow me to dream a little more: An iPad application with a reference of the modeled guitars, maybe with a little more information/pictures would be very nice....

Cheers

Tino from Switzerland

A great item. Could be put in the documents archive?

That's nice, thanks. I've saved it.

I didn't think the Les Paul Custom was an SG - is it definitely an SG?

Very cool, now if there was one specific to the JTV-59. We can fudge it though.

You don't need one specific for any Variax - Line 6 have used the same modelled guitars since the original Variax as far as I know.

The JTV-59 guitar models are of the same guitars as my 600, just updated modelling technology.

Silverhead, where did this come from? Did you make it?

No I didn't make it. I think this is the source document:

Thanks to vettaville.nl. If you are not familiar with this site it has several helpful tutorials on using Workbench.

As are they the same on my 500 but on the JTV the switch positions are different (3-way + tuning knob versus 5 way). I know it should be simple but it can get easy to get lost as to exactly where you are.

i think he means that the switch positions (3way) are different on the 59... same guitars just not as clearcut to get to them...

i did like the 5way better myself.....but the 59 is solid.

Yeah the 5-way is much easier to do the math on the fly with. That said the only things I don't absolutely love about my new 59 is the tuners (will be replacing with Planetwaves auto-trims soon), and the fact that I was too impatient to wait for a tobacco burst to become available. I love my black beauty but that tobacco burst is just sick looking in every picture I have seen.

This poster is a big help though and I can make notes on it from the pilots manual...

Hi gene1714,

I would love to see some photos of your 59 with the Planet Waves tuners on if that's OK, because I'm hoping to do the same, and no one has responded to my request for photos of this yet: http://line6.com/support/thread/84196">http://line6.com/support/thread/84196">http://line6.com/support/thread/84196
