Should I spend the extra $ on fbv shortboard or just get the fbv express?
by jeffmyers1 on 2012-03-26 13:46:29

I'm new to Line 6 so I could use a little advice as to which foot controller to get with my Spider IV 75w.

This is just for home playing, not gigging.

Any reason I should get the shortboard?  What do I gain?

Thanks!

if you're gonna use only at home, the express gonna handle. the main diferrence is the led for instant infos and more buttons on the shortboard edition. =)

If in the future you do decide to use it for gigging, the shortboard would come in handy (depending on the kind of music you play and how much tone changing you would need).

The Shortboard allows you scroll up and down through the 16 banks of user presets (with the Express you have to do this on the amp itself) and it also gives you the ability to turn on certain FX directly without changing the preset you are on.
