Error message 80000000 for drivers and flash memory update
by mfish33 on 2012-05-18 23:43:15

I am getting the above error message when trying to communicate with Line 6 monkey and the x3 Live. It seems to see the device via USB. The drivers and flash memory are not up to date and won't let me update, I get the error message in the bottom window. I use a Mac OS. Any thoughts?

I was able to update everything by downloading the driver update straight from the line 6 site, never from Monkey, and now it shows all updated. Just can't figure out how to get sound thru my computer speakers via USB. I see it is picking up a signal in Garageband, but nothing comes out. I changed the settings in the system for the X3 in and out. Do I need separate speakers apart from the computer? Not sure what is happening here.

Yes, you need to connect speakers to the X3.
