HD500 repeating the welcome screen, unable to connect or use!!

Hey,

I've been reading through some similar problems in the support forums, and unfortunately none have helped with this issue.

A couple of weeks back, I was rehearsing with my band, when mid song, my pod decided to have a nap...Now when I try to power it on, I get the "welcome screen/line6 logo" repeating itself and my computer doesn't recognise it when I hook it up (all drivers are up to date so it's definitely not that). I have tried everything that I have seen that apparently helps the problem (holding the directional buttons when powering on, trying to "reflash" the unit, etc), but none of these seem to be working.

If anyone out there has any suggestions or experienced something similar, please give me a shout! I'm desperate to get it working again!

If you haven't already done so, I suggest you open a support ticket for yourself and take this up directly with Line 6.

Meantime, someone else here may have other suggestions. Unfortunately I don't. It sounds like you have already tried everything that's been suggested here,

Sorry to hear that Nick.  I'm in the same boat - tried all the fixes posted in the forum with no joy.  After receiving my HD500 back from L6 last Wed., within 48 hours I got the logo of death.  This is my 3rd HD500 failure in 18 months.  Hope you can get it resolved.
