Thank you Line6 For Delivering That Sweet SLO Action!

Lovin' the crunch and overdrive preamp models, and runing them through my 2:90 6L6 poweramp with some choice EQ tweaks goes a long way to getting me to 6505+ town. I'd share some tones, but considering all I use are the preamp models and not the power section/cab-emulation who knows if what everyone here would hear is even ballpark of comes out of my rig.

The SLO100-Tones are excellent, loaded the update yesterday and played until after midnight. From my point of view, these are the best Amp-Sims so far on the POD HD, they really enhance the platform significantly. Line6 should sell an Amp-Package with some further great Amps, I would love to see some smaller classic Amps, like the Fender '57 Champ.

I'm German and therefore surrounded by Kemper Profiling Amps, which are really phenomenal and available everywhere. I was actually planning to buy one and sell the HD500. The 2.1 upgrade made me reconsider this. I'll keep the HD500, at least until there will be a nice looking Kemper in a floorboard unit. Still hoping, Line6 will integrate similar profiling technology in an affordable future product.

Been noddling around with the new update and I love the SLO. I run it thru my DT50 1x12 combo and it kills.......  I cant wait til rehearsal this weekend, I'm sure my mates will approve.

Can you give us the settings so we, HD500 owners, can play with it?  It would be great to test a tone that is made with the same poweramp i play. Thanx a bunch.

+1, but the Clean model is barely audible.  Of course there are ways around it; we all balance patch levels.  I use a Mesa 50/50 and use mostly 'pre's with no cab sims, so our setups are similar.

The level of the SLO 100 Clean is just plain silly, imo.

Yeah I've noticed this on my dt25, the variance in volume between the 3 preamps is even worse than usual with the clean even with gain and volume maxed is nowhere near the other models in the pod. I've still got the bassman though and the quality of the other 2 SLO channels more than make up for some extra volume balancing.
