Pod x3 live SDRAM error, what are the options to fix it?
by Lantura on 2013-01-28 05:22:39

Hey there,

I'm in a really bad situation here. I recently bought a Line 6 POD X3 Live used, I didn't get the chance to try it out because the Pod belonged to a friend of the seller who had recently died and the current seller didn't play guitar at all. With this naive and blind trust in humanity I returned home, just to discover that the Pod didn't work at all... So I immediately headed out this way to figure out what was the problem, and I found out that there was something wrong with the SDRAM after doing the troubleshooting test:

Pedal Cal - P

Buttons - P

Pots - P

Encoders - P

Flash - P

SDRAM - F

I read somewhere on these forums that Line 6 will only make an attempt to fix this if I have a proof of purchase, the seller didn't include this so what are my options in this case?

I know this was pretty stupid of me so I don't need anyone else pointing that out for me,

thank you in advance!

your only real hope is to have a service center check it out: http://line6.com/service_centers/

don't">http://line6.com/service_centers/">http://line6.com/service_centers/

don'tthink that the SDRAM is user serviceable in anyway.

Try registaring it. The previous owner may have never done that.

not a bad idea... but keep in mind registration alone does not satisfy proof of purchase requirements if that was your intention.

I figured it was worth a shot. Probably best to try contacting line 6 as you specified above.
