Using HD Desktop for vocals and guitar through 2 amps
by Geeky666 on 2013-03-03 15:41:50

Hi, I used to be able to do this with my X3 desktop. Run my guitar out output 1 and the vocals out output 2 to 2 seperate amps and keep the signals seperate. Will the HD desktp not do this or am I missing something? Thanks, g

Yes it will. You have to setup the inputs for the patch properly (input 1: Guitar; input 2 Mic)...You will need a dual patch...put your guitar amp on path 1...amp model on path 2 should be set to none...move the fx blocks you need onto the paths you want to use them...mixer should be last in the chains is generally panned hard left and hard right...

OK, thanks that's great news. Really enjoyed running my vocs through a PA  in my small rehearsal space. The X3 made my voice sound great. I can only imaging what the HD will do.

I go through the pod HD into my DRRI for the guitar.
