The Les Paul® Junior was introduced in 1954 as the budget member of the Les Paul® series. The body is a flat mahogany slab, and the electronics are simplified to include only a single P-90 in the bridge position. The meaty tone, lightweight, and uncompromised playability made the Junior a favorite of Mountain's Leslie West.
