The "super" model.

Creating microphone models demands rigorous research, analysis and testing. We took each microphone's bench-test specs, proximity effect characteristics, feedback rejection characteristics, and much more. The DNA we collected was used to create L6-DC7, the "super" model. This original mic model combines the sought-after sparkle of top condenser mics, the ruggedness and high dynamic range of dynamic mics, and plenty of responsiveness to cut through the mix. (XD-V70 only)

Removable mic capsule.

The removable capsule allows you to further customize the microphone's polar pattern, frequency response, and more. Compatible capsules include a variety from Shure® and Heil Sound®.

Dynamic environment filter.

This "smart" and adjustable dynamic filter reduces unwanted ambient sound, increases vocal articulation and prevents unintentional handling noise. (XD-V70 only)
