I typically use the "Carillon" (Chime) amp on my Catalyst 60 to get a good general clean tone (rather than either of the Clean amps). I recently heard the Jazz Rivet 120 on the Helix (which is modeled after the Jazz Chorus 120) and really liked it. I've been trying to tweak the Catalyst to get as close to that as possible but could use some suggestions. Anyone tried to accomplish this? Suggestions?

Ok I was confused, then I thought I figured it out ... now I'm confused again. I feel like the manual isn't covering it or i'm just not wrapping my head around how this works. On my Katana, I can set all the settings how I like, then use the 4 preset switches to save those settings to a preset slot. On the Catalyst however, The amps, groups, banks and presets appear to all be tied to the same knob. So .... I have on bank 2 a preset using the Aristocrat that I set how I like it so I saved that to the A preset. I then configured a 2204 setting how I like and set that to the B slot. I can call up either on the footswitch. Great. If I go to the editor and select a different bank, I seem to blow over what's saved to the footswitch. Every time. What am I missing here?

Ok, I think David uses a lot of effects so it would be difficult to replicate his sound with just two of them, but I would be really happy of anything close to it. Any advises or floyds presets? Right now I am mostly interested in sounds of Shine on, Hey You or Comfortably Numb. But can be anything...

Is there any one who could share with some nice Iron Maiden tones. Especially something from Fear of the Dark album and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son but can be some others too

Also I'm looking for Nightwish tones mostly from Tarja era like Century Child, Wishmaster and Oceanborn albums.

If there is no one who could share with his tones than maybe some advises how to set up my Cat to sound anything close to those?

Hello everyone. Has anyone had success getting the Carillon model (Chime A) to sound more Voxy? I find the model to sound too smooth, not harsh or cutting enough. The Youtube video comparing a Catalyst to a real AC15 shows as much.

The closest I've come is as follows.

Boost: 55% - This adds some of the requisite harshness. Getting the chime with gain just sounded way too smooth.

	Gain: 25%

	Bass: 30%

	Mid: 50%

	Treble: 68%

	Presence 60%

	Hi

I'm trying to recreate the Let's Dance Nile Rogers sound on my Catalyst 200. The original recording uses a dual delay of an eighth-note and a quarter-note set to 114 bpm. I am a bit puzzled about how to set two delays on the catalyst's dual delay effect. Can anyone help, please?
