Hello! I've noticed that occasionally just touching the tip of the G10 transmitter causes sudden noise which I assume should be muted until the physical plug is inserted into the guitar. I realize that small pin is what engages the transmitter but it shouldn't be making noise if it's not plugged in. Is there a fix for this?

My G30 wireless system has had significant loss of volume and signal strength. I have noticed i have had to turn the input all the way up on my compressor to get signal to barely register. Batteries and new in the transmitter and the receiver is hardwired. If i take the G30 out of the loop, the signal is very strong often pegging the meter of the compressor to the point I have to turn the input down. This wasn't happening in the past. Saturday I played a gig and noticed the volume loss. The sound guy needed more signal to register and unit didn't have more signal. I switched to a cord and everything was normal. We also tried changing channels on the G30 system and it didn't help. I never has loss of signal, just very low volume from the signal.

Hi all. I have a Relay G30 unit that has a semi-broken transmitter. The battery cover doesn’t stay closed and the belt clip is history.

I’m working around that by using tape on the lid and using a Levy’s transmitter holder/case.

But were I to buy a new transmitter, which I’m considering…..which one is compatible? Because I don’t see the G30 Relay, TBP06 transmitter available anymore, or anywhere that says which one is a replacement.

	Thanks so much.

Hi! Greetings. A few days ago (last week), I was updating my Line 6 POD GO Wireles through POD Go Edit to the newest version available. It was updated to the version (2.00.0) in that moment. I have the transmitter RELAY G10TII. Right after the update was completed my transmitter's light turned faint red (very low bright) and since then it's not being recognized by my POD GO Wireless. I cant's play nothing! It's unusable. My POD Go Wireless does charge my RELAY G10TII. When I plug it in, it shows it's charging, but the faint red light doesn't change, it always stays that way all the time since then. When I play with it, the unit does not recognize it. Doesn't work! ---- Here are the steps I tried: 1- I tried factory reset on my POD GO Wireless by pressing buttons C and D and turning on the unit. The factory reset was sucessful, but the transmitter didn't work. 2- I tried updating my unit through Line 6 Updater to the newest version. Update complete! Transmitter didn't work. 3- I tried updating my unit through Line 6 Updater to all versions available (one by one) in order to see if the problem with it gets resolved. All updates were sucessfull. Transmitter didn't work. 4- I tried unpluggig and plugging the transmitter back in several times to verify if it gets recognized by the unit and works. Transmitter didn't work. I am really lost and feel really sad! I just have 3 weeks with my unit and this problem came for just updating my unit (as recomended). If I knew this issue would occur I hadn't updated my unit and would have continued with it the way it was, eventhough stayed with no updates. I Don't know what else to do! Tried looking for all information on Line 6 troubleshoting pages, but all those steps didn't work for my transmitter. PLEASE HELP!

My power supply lead is starting to fray where it plugs into the receiver unit. I have purchased 2 different replacement power supplies, from different suppliers and both have said they are suitable for the G30. However, when I connect them, both produce an oscillating sound that gets louder as I turn my amp (Ashdown bass combo) up. I get no such problem with the original power supply, which does still work. One has a 2amp out put and the other, 500mA. Is there such thing as an 'approved' Line 6 power supply?

I just bought a used G90 on Reverb.com, it's my first wireless unit. I don't have an amp at home, I just have a scarlett and a vst that I use to practice, so admittedly I haven't used the wireless on my actual rig yet. However, before even being powered, the second I plug the G90 into the wall I get a high pitched noise frequency. I have tried several power cables, I have used every channel and verified it has 0 to do with the TX. The problem exists the second that I plug it into a wall.

	What could be causing this?

I have a Line6 Relay G75 wireless system. I have put the Steve Luketer Hss EMG Set in my squier, and sounds kick lollipop. Problem is, that my wireless system is not receving the signal properly, or the signal that its receiving from my guitar is clipping the transmiter. With the wireless, gain at zero (unity) gets out less volume and doesnt go more at a certain threshold, regardless how hard I play. The thing is, i can hear it clipping a bit if I go hard enough. This does happen when I plug in a normal cable to my guitar.

My guitarist has a G30 wireless and I have a Shure GLX-D16+. I've never had a single issue with dropouts on mine, but my guitarist almost always has an issue with dropouts at gigs.

I plan on buying an RF scanner soon so we can vet our channel settings at future gigs, but I can't find a list of what the frequencies are for the channels for the G30. Does anyone have a list of these freqs so I can 1) make sure that he and I aren't stepping on each others' toes wirelessly, and 2) make sure we set it to the right channel at a venue?

I see this has been an ongoing problem, but I need three (3) battery doors for my TBP12 transmitters, and nobody seems to have them. Black duct tape will only last so long. Clearly with the demand for this part, one could assume it's a weak point, prone to failure. Has the TBP12 been discontinued, or is this a supply-chain issue?

I have two tbp12 transmitters only one turned on at a time. The g50 is in rf2 high power. The problem is a dropout once every 30 seconds or so. I’ll watch the unit and see the signal bars go from full green to nothing and then back to full green. Never any red.

last gig I tried 3 different channels. Never any red but same green bar drop outs. This seems to be a new problem. I’ve used this for a while now at various venues. Any ideas on where to start? Rf1? It happens with both transmitters.

I did a lot of tests at home. Zero drop outs. So something is happening with our live shows. IEM, wifi, venue lights and sound and wifi? No clue.
thanks.

Like many on this forum my G10 died after 4 months with the red ring (ok, square) of death on the receiver. I saw one post that recommended downgrading the firmware to 1.03 on the transmitter, and that did indeed bring the thing back to life. However, part of the firmware upgrade (downgrade…) process involves a reboot, and I suspect it’s that what kicked the unit back to life, not the firmware change. So, a question to Line6 (assuming you read your own forums…?) – How does one reboot the G10 onstage, where a convenient PC is not likely to be available? I’m struggling to trust this device on stage if I can’t reset it the next time throws a wobbly.

Many of the Line6 devices can be reset, see https://line6.com/support/page/kb/general-faq/line-6-device-factory-reset-procedures-r435/ but the G10 is not there.

	Hi

I've been using a G90 with my TBP12 transmitter, but the G90 has started to become flaky (display not always coming on, sound dropping out, etc...) so I'm wondering about replacing the G90 with one of the other Relay receivers (G50 etc.), assuming they can be purchased separately.

I gather this may depend upon firmware version running in the TBP12, but I've not found a means to determine what that is- does anyone have any advice on how to proceed- do I scrap both the TBP12 and G90 and start again?

Hello folks! I've had my Spider V 240HC and Relay G10T for less than a year.

The two devices worked fine together until I noticed that the G10T no longer works when plugged in to my guitar. It recognizes the transmitter when charging, but the little battery symbol on the Spider V display disappears once I switch it to the guitar.

I've fully charged the transmitter, reinstalled the latest firmware for the Spider V (it was already installed, so no surprise that didn't help), and tried multiple guitars, all to no avail. I can't seem to find answers to this specific problem, so has anyone has this experience and solved it? I can't seem to get Line 6 Updater to recognize the transmitter so I can update its firmware.

I sold my tube amps and pedals, and bought the Spider V for ease of use, but it hasn't been a good showing so far. It sounds great live, but between the blown speaker in my Spider head, this wireless issue and the problems that my guitarist has with his Spider V, I'm not sure if it's worth so much hassle. Anyway, thanks for reading!

During our rehearsal, it seemed that the signal of my Line 6 Relay G30 was disrupted by my band mate's Nux C-5RC Wireless System. The former operates in the 2.4 GHz band, the latter in the 5.8 GHz band. From what I understand, there should theoretically be no issue between them. Is it still possible somehow?

I've been having these ridiculous drop out issues with my G10TII (POD GO Wireless) at ridiculously short distances (7'/2m) lately. I've already downloaded the 2.0 version for the PGW, but if anything, the condition has worsened a little bit. I charge the unit to full and then put it back on its socket before I head to a gig. Then I set up my gear and do the charging/recognizing process again (white circle, then blue volt on display), before I start playing. Issue's still there. What's next?

I saw some old posts that some guys had managed to build a diy charger for g10/g10ii transmitters. That way you can use any usb port to charge the transmitters. I've given it a go myself by cutting the lead to a 5v usb and soldering hot (red) to the tip and ground (black) to the ring portion of a mono cable. It didn't work.. Anyone know if this wont work because I need a stereo female jack? I appreciate anyone giving me info on how the g10 takes a charge. I understand all of this is at my own risk.

I recently got a guitar with a dual pickup system, magnetic and piezo. When using a TS cord it blends the pickups, but with a TRS it separates them, sending mag pickups on the tip, piezo on the sleeve. This is the first time I even noticed that my g10ii is TRS. Why? Is there a way to get the separate signals? If desired, can I un-TRS it with something like a solder bridge, or will that break it? I mostly use it into my Yamaha thr10ii, which has a built-in receiver, and right now I can’t get the piezo pickup to output.

Hello! My G10 base is powered/charged via a Monster Power 3500 power conditioner. It’s plugged into one of the two outlets on the front panel. These supply power even when the power conditioner is shut off. The rest of the gear in the rack, including a guitar/amp/cab switcher is plugged into a separate Furman power conditioner which only powers when turned “on”. The problem is that I can keep the G10 powered constantly via the Monster Power 3500 but need to unplug it and connect it to the Furman to have zero noise. I’ve forgotten to reconnect everything back so I can keep the G10 charged when the rack is not in use and this leads to an uncharged G10 more often than not. Is there a solution to get rid of this noise while plugged into a separate power conditioner? Thanks in advance!

Surprised to NOT see much activity in the forum on the continued dropout issues for the G70 wireless (even with the important firmware update). I am in the process of getting new wireless for my guitar and as I've searched all over the internet (Amazon, Sweetwater, MusFriend, Guitar Center, etc..), the personal reviews are consistently still complaints of major dropouts for the product (as of August 2016 - even with the latest firmware upgrade). Has Line 6 continued to investigate the issue and dissatisfaction with users/owners of the product or is it just considered a viable product "as is"..? Anyone else out there having these dropout issues..?

	Hi all,

Just purchased a Relay G10Tii to replace the old transmitter with dead battery. I'm using it with the G10S reciever.

I was wondering wheter it is recomended to allow it to run out of battery before charging it again or whether I can charge it even when it has half of the battery (e.g. between 1 and 2 green lights) without compromising its battery life span? I just want to make sure that its fully charged before live shows, but I don't want to damage it so after few months its battery would only last for an hour or so...

	Thanks

Not very long ago, I purchased an XD-V75 Transmitter. It worked well, until yesterdayl. The issue is that the door doesn't close far enough to make a connection to the batteries. If I press on the top, it will make a connection. But the connection is lost the second I remove my finger.

Picture 3: The battery compartment of the XD-V75. Not a great picture. But when I look in the battery compartment and look at the connectors on the floor of the compartment, the one on the right seems to be smashed a bit. I thought about putting some shims of some sort into the compartment to see if I could create a connection when the door was closed. But I figured the unit is still under warrenty and they will do a better fix than I can.

Hi,

Just got a new g50 wireless, and am having troubles with it.

Every 10->20 seconds, the audio signal cuts out for around a second, and then comes back.

Tried it with several guitars, in several locations and at both close/extreme ranges. Tried it in RF1 and RF2 mode. Tried every available channel.

Tried several different sets of batteries in the transmitter (including the ones that were provided in the box), no change.

Here's a video of the LED display when the unit drops out:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dh4F8ZhRII0

Notice how the signal is 3 green and then switches momentarily to 3 red, then back to green. This is when the drop outs occur (this happens twice in this video). In the video, I have the transmitter in another room (I was checking it wasn't overloading or something), and nothing plugged into either the transmitter or receiver. However, this happens with the transmitter at any range, and obviously still happens with a guitar/amp connected. I imagine this is where the receiver is re-syncing with the transmitter, and therefore not a cable issue etc.

The power supply I'm using is a T-Rex fuel tank chameleon, which can provide 9V DC 300ma on a single isolated supply, which is what the receiver is spec'd for. I don't have an official power supply (I bought the unit in the USA, but live in the UK), so I've ordered a 9V 500ma supply (as what is supplied with the unit) to test that, but I feel that it probably isn't the problem.

This has now taken up far more of my time than I can tolerate, getting a wireless is supposed to make things easier but so far it's been nothing but a pain. Any ideas what I can try to resolve this? I'd like to avoid sending it back, as I'd have to ship it to the USA I imagine.

Since having these troubles I've noticed a lot of threads where people are experiencing similar issues; is there no cure for this problem?

Well I ordered what I thought would work fine from ebay in allowing me to play an Ibanez JEM77P guitar with the wireless g10 since the G10 does not quite fit properly into the guitar cavity (here's the link).... http://www.ebay.com/itm/400667246204?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

The item I ordered was a Stereo 6.35mm Female Socket to Male Mono ¼" Guitar 6.35mm Jack Plug Adapter. The adapter worked but very poorly. It added for lack of a better word, overdrive on clean sounds, and I believe the volume suffered and was coming in and out.

The size and footprint are perfect. Can anyone recommend a better adapter solution?

thanks!

I really wish Line 6 would introduce Digital IEM's. The market to my knowledge starts around $1500.00 usd for real Digital products like the Digital IEM's from Shure. With Line 6's technology and manufacturing I really feel you could own the IEM Market from the jump. I have not been to a bar gig since the very early 70's but I find even musicians playing those venues are using primitive IEM systems many of which are in the outmoded or banned UHF and even old VHF crap. Even the widely used AT 3 System is around $800.00 usd and is still UHF.

Soldered it in place today and was happy to find that it charges and syncs with my Spider V60 amp. It also allowed me to update the G10 transmitter and receiver to their respective latest firmware updates.

Given that this wireless setup has been utterly useless to me for several years, I'm pretty happy about this.

I hope this helps someone else with a dead battery in a G10. Be very careful taking it apart and especially while soldering the battery. Get help if you need it.

I'm at rehearsal jamming away and my signal cuts out. Well these G30's eat batteries but I have plenty. However I notice the battery door is cracked in half. Weird. The only pressure it's receiving is from the spring that holds the battery.

Has this happened to anyone? Does Line 6 cover this or at least offer a repair?

	Hi there ,

My usb connection port on the base of the G10 is extremely wobbly .

The cable keeps moving so there is no charging .

I tried different cables but the problem is the port connection.

	Anyone else have this problem?

Also updating it is not possible because the device does not show up when i try to update.

	What can i do?

Can i open up the base myself and replace the connector and if so how do i open it up?

	Any help would be appriciated.

	Thanks ,
