I only have PC audio coming through outputs 1&2.

What gives?
What if I want to hear my PC through outputs 3&4?

Am I missing something in the manual?

I'm facing a blocking issue since I've upgraded my ipad air to ios 12.4...

Using GarageBand too ,Mmobile Pod crashes every time I want to record ...

The LIne6 support does not answer to my ticket for more than one week ...

1. Is anyone satisfied with the guitar modeling of Mobile Pod? Is it just good for practicing and not meant for producing guitar tone that sounds great like an HD500 pod or other pods?

2. Often the interlink between Mobile Pod and Cubasis gets unlinked and I have to restart Mobile Pod and then start Cubasis afterwards to get it going again or just go through the motions of setting the routing for the track I am set to record from Mobile Pod to use Mobile Pod to get it to work again. I think maybe using the "undo" function to undo what I just recorded disconnects the interlink connection. Anyone had this problem?

3. I have two expensive monitors I am trying to use connecting to Sonic Port (not VX) and it does not have monitor outputs like VX does. I have two choices, use the headphone output and split into the two speakers with 1/8" jack 1 into 2 cable adapter (which lacks in volume greatly when using) or run the amp output into a 1/4" jack 1 into 2 splitter  (which I have not tried yet since I need the splitter). Is it do-able for me to try to use Sonic Port with monitors or should I just dump the it for the VX model?

If anyone has experience with this, please tell me what you have learned. Thank-you.

1) GUI is completely different - way too modern, Ableton? Prefer the effects and amps to look 'real'

But more importantly.......

2) You cannot switch effects of by tapping them. You have to select the effect first, then select on/off from new window. So there's no 'stomp' switch on the effects. So that's 2 actions rather than one. Compare with Tonestack where I can turn multiple effects on/off with one press.

Apart from the Audio Energy beam there is little difference. I had no problems with the old interface despite using it on an iPad mini and I'm not very good generally with touch screens.

Plus point - you can change buffer size inside the app.

The included Mobile POD app for iOS gives you over 10,000 presets designed by artists, Line 6 and other players

Had written this off but will definitely buy if this is available?

I've tried swiping left, and that doesn't seem to work for me (I[m using an iPhone 6s).

Any suggestions?  Is there a User Guide?

So far I use a App called iFile Organizer to play along over audio-tracks from my bandmates. iFile Organizer offers the ability to loop parts of a song and lets you decide the tempo up- and downwards.

As the Mobile POD App offers similar features I thought about using these when jamming, but there is a big disadvantage, which seems to be the "import possibilities".

Regardless to what other App I refer, all those others can be feed by using the "open in...", "Import to...", "send to..." feature of the cloud-services like iCloud, Drive and Dropbox where Mobile POD only seems to support the iTunes library as a source for imports into it's setlist.

But this library itself can only be feed by purchasing tracks or syncing the music in your iTunes-Desktop library.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

How do you import playalong tracks into a music-setlist of Mobile POD?

And if not, can one run two instances of Mobile Pod in AudioBus (one guitar only, the second loop playback only?)

Or maybe Garageband, or other?

I am outputting the iPhone into a mixer, and would like to separate the guitar track from the loop playback (drum) track.

for those curious, i'm trying to get the tone heard here on the intro:

I'm using the mobile pod 2.0.2 on IOS (ipad air )

and I cannot find the button :"delete" after selecting one or several user tones ....

besides, when I save a tone as "Trash" for instance, if it already exists : it creates another Trash tone ....with exactly the same name ...

I had the Mobile In plugged in and opened up Mobile Pod and a message pops up about buying the app and or restoring a purchase? Do I need to "Retsore a Purchase"? Since it was working.

I suppose things have changed while my "Mobile In" was taking a break. I suppose the updated IOS was the cause of most of it.

Second, I would appreciate getting step by step instruction on reloading my presets them because, frankly, your presets suck balls. Mi tried via iTunes and while it supposedly loads the priests, they don't show up in Mobile Pod. Ain't that nice.

I'm having a number of issues with the latest reboot of Mobile Pod on my iPAD Air. I actually quit using it because of the pop and click issue. But when this update was announced, I thought what the hell. I'll give it another try.

By way of observation, while I don't hate the new look, I like the old look with real amps better.

Drag and drop doesn't work. I wish it did because that is a much needed improvement.

I can no longer toggle FX as before

The noise gate is gone. I looked high and low but couldn't find it, so if someone knows where it is, please do tell. If it really has been deprecated, then L6 needs to bring it back.

I can no longer find custom tone. Someone on another thread in this forum said it's gone as well. Is this true?

I'm a pro user, meaning I paid for this app. The last thing I want is to loose features and with this supposed update, it looks like I'm losing a few and there are some which simply don't work, like the drag and drop.

BTW, the new buffer feature is also a much needed improvement. So far the app isn't popping or clicking.  Thank you for that.

Please, I need help in order to go back to Mobile Pod 1.7. How do I do it? Where do I get the old 1.7? It doesnt matter if I'll lose all the settings and tones I had already saved as I can re-set them manually.

But I need to go back and have access to custom tones, thank you.

I purchased the Mobile POD software to run with my Focusrite iTrack Dock. It is displaying some annoying audio pops and clicks and problems saving my custom tones. When you go to save it will turn certain effects off. In my case, I added a noise gate to the effects chain. Every time I tried to save, it would turn the effect off. Exiting the user tone and then going back to it doesn't resolve the issue. Sometimes rebooting the app will correct this, but the darned thing is so flaky, I never know what it's going to do.

The pops and clicks issue is a big problem as well. Sometimes killing the app and restarting will resolve this. Often it doesn't.

I sure would like to get some help on this, as apparently, there's no way to contact support about this issue. I'm concerned that Line 6 isn't even developing this app any more in which case, I paid for a broken app and I want my freaking money back.

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

My tunes are purchased & downloaded to my IPhone 6 plus running ios 9.2 (latest)

I can see the tunes ok but when i attempt to load i get a message unable to load selected tune & make sure its downloaded to device?

- Ampkit HD seems to be the ONLY interface with a charger input. I realize that most of these things were created to use for practice and home recording, but the tones are getting good enough that I want be able to gig with them. I wouldn't go on stage with an iPad without being able to supply power to it. So, please consider supplying a 5V input on future Sonic Ports and the like.

- Live control. To gig with a Mobile POD, some sort of Live or Performance interface is needed. JamUp seems to be the only App that has seriously considered this possibility. I prefer foot control to tapping an iPad while trying to play. Perhaps Mobile POD can be switched between patches and midi controllers assigned to pedals and effects using an iRig bluetooth floorboard or something, but I can't find any documentation that says how. e.g., I have no idea how to get the Wah effect in Mobile POD to work from some kind of pedal...do you? Seems to me, you could make a dumbed down version of the AmpliFi FX100, without the onboard DSPs, and instead use it to control the Mobile POD app and provide patch switching and real time controls.... 

- What would be great is to be able to use a nice foot controller like this, with only a single cable, carrying power and signal, from the controller to the iPad/iPhone... ie just move the DSP from the FX100 into the iPad/iPhone and make all the power, guitar and other connections to the foot controller. This would be a 'clean' rig and the iPad display could be used for lots of nice performance feedback, tuner, and quick access to patch editing, just like the FX100.... but don't put the iPad on the floor like Digitech did.... 

- Don't forget an input for a second expression pedal!!!

- I can't register my purchase of Mobile POD App for support. It isn't listed.

Actually, that's all I had to add. You guys a Line6 are doing a great job at innovating and bringing some tech to the stage. Keep up the good work!

I'm using Line 6 products for many years and I wasn't aware of Mobile pod.

I'm using iRig to connect my guitar. Mobile pod sounds are great !

Sound level in the app is really good.

But I have a problem: when I connect mobile pod in garage band through inter app, sound level is reduced and loose punch.

Am I the only one to have this problem on iPad ?

I will be very annoyed if it isn't compatible after reading on this site " It’s compatible with all major audio interfaces", and paying $25 to enable.
