Hi All So I have been struggling with the Helix Floor understanding how to use it and concluded its too complex and large for my needs as someone who is going to be gigging direct into PA with no backline in a covers band. I have experimented with a Boss ME90 as I like the ability to actual control knobs and the Edit software feels more easy to use.

I have just seen that POD GOs appear good price on the SH market and wondering what people think about it in terms of how it sounds. I fully understand has less flexibility that Helix, less routing options but I think all of those options are above my level anyway.

Does anyone have experiences of the Wireless version also, is there any reduced quality level of the wireless signal for the inbuilt version compared to what I already have which is the external Relay G10s? Thanks

Apple will be dropping support of Rosetta soon, so Mac users will need a true Apple Silicon version of Line 6 Pod Go App, as the current version is an Intel based App which runs in Rosetta.

I would like to send preset program changes to other pedals from the Podgo. I have a CME H2MidiPro, and a PirateMidi Scribble. Connected to the Scribble through TRS midi cables and all on separate midi channels, I have an Hx One, an OBNE Dark Star, IK X-space, and a Source Audio Artifakt. When I change presets on the Scribble, all the pedals will change presets like I want. BUT I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the Podgo to send a program change when I change presets on the Podgo, OR receive the program change (which is not how I want it to work, but that would at least be progress), when I change presets on the Scribble.

With the H2Midi Pro (which I thought was the solution I needed), I have tried connecting the Podgo to both the Usb-c (device) port, and the Usb-A host port. Connected to either one, I don't see activity lights when I change a preset. I'm guessing that's my problem, but then what do I connect to Podgo to, to get all this to work.

I want to send some midi signals to another pedal from the pod go. Is that possible ? I know midi in is possible but how about midi out to other devices ?

For instance : i have a pod go pedal and a big sky reverb pedal. Whenever i change presets (or snapshot) on the pod go, i'd like to send some midi signals to the big sky so that it loads a specific preset on it.
I don't want to hit some switch on the pod and then having to hit some switch on the big sky.

I want to browse all of the available tones for my PodGo. I don't want to have to think of a key word and search for it as I've run out of ideas for that. Scrolling page after page is cumbersome due to how many pages there are. What I would really like is to be able to download the list of all available tones into a CSV file and load them into a spreadsheet. I can peruse that much faster and easier.

Over the last few days, I have been researching the Line 6 HX Stomp XL since I require a robust multi-effects processor for my guitar recording sessions, performances, and practice. According to online reviews by reputable websites, YouTube tutorials, and expert opinion, the following two are considered the best products on the market:

Line 6 HX Stomp Multi-Effects Guitar Pedal

	https://www.amazon.com/Line-Electric-Guitar-HX-Stomp/dp/B07J2LV1N

But, at this point, I am unable to make a decision based on which one is better for me and require your expert advice.

As per my application, I require a robust multi-effects processor for my guitar recording sessions, practice, and occasional live performances. The product must offer good amp simulation, realistic tone generation, ease of editing, and consistent performance.

Which one do you recommend that I purchase?

I have unacceptable hum from my Pod Go. I connect to a Fender FR-10 (FRFR) and the hum is too much. It is not the FRFR, not the cords, not the USB etc. With headphones, the hum is coming from the Pod Go. When I turn off the IR/Cabinet, there is no hum. Input gate on or off has no affect on the hum. So.. my questions are:

Should I always be outputting at 0 db to reduce the hum? (at a significant loss of volume)

Should I use a different IR?

Should each effect be limited to 0 dB?

	Is my POD GO defective?

Of course, reducing the volume, reduces the hum How do you keep the hum down without sacrificing volume?

Anyone experience a buzzing string sound when plugging into a mixing board? It's not the guitar as I have tried more than one. I am pretty new to using a modeler, so sorry if I sound stupid. I don't hear a problem with just playing through my headphones and the Pod Go Wireless. The problem only happens when I plug into my buddy's mixing board. It sounds like the strings are buzzing on the frets, kind of like I need to level the frets. Anyone have a comment on how to fix this problem?

I am trying to use the Ducked Delay TC Electronic® 2290 but it's not working. My understanding of it is that it is supposed the duck the delay signal while you are playing and raise it when you stop. No matter how I set it, the exact opposite is happening. The delay plays over top of the clean signal, at the exact same volume, and when I stop it fades out at the exact speed I set the release to. I found this youtube video demoing the effect on a Helix/HX Stomp and I can say with certainty that the effect in this video is not the same as what the Pod Go is doing.

I bought a PG Wireless that didn't work. I tried everything to restore it. checked all the forums, all the internet/youtube stuff to push updates through with reverting back and updating. no luck. I am looking for a wireless sub PCB (it's about 1.5" square and connects to the two wireless antennas). I have replaced the Input/Output PCB for the PGW and that didn't change anything. I can take the main board and plug in my I/O from my standard PG and it boots right up. I just can't get the wireless one to boot even after replacing it's I/O PCB. I thought I narrowed it down, but I gotta try another something to make it work. If the wireless PCB isn't the issue, then is it possible I got a bad PCB from Sweetwater? That is the only thing I didn't have a spare of to try is the wireless piece. Let me know please... TY

I loaded/restored my user presets to a brand new Pod Go today and I still have the same buzzing & humming. My Presets are using different amp models. I tried the Input Gate but it didn't really cure the problem fully. (Tried different guitars & leads = all the same to varying degrees). What global setting could be causing the issue?

	Hi all.

So I've had my line 6 Pod Go for about 4 days now and liking it. However when I try and connect it to PODgo Edit all I get is "no device connected". Even though my computer happily picks it up as a sound card and I've already done 2 recordings with it using my DAW and all works fine. But it just won't connect to the Edit program!!!

I'm trying to use V1.11, I've uninstalled it about 10 times , downloaded the installer again and re installed it but everytime is still the same. I've tried every USB slot my computer has and makes no difference, I just don't get it.

All drivers are installed and working perfectly, I'm using it as my permeant interface now, but I can not connect to pod edit! Which really will hinder my device in the future as I won't be able to do firmware updates or load IRs!

Makes no sense that the computer finds it fine and it's being used as my audio interface and to record with! Using windows 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

	Thank You.

I've had my Pod Go (wirelss) for about a year and 7 months and have never had any issues with it until recently where I wanted to work on my tones using the Pod Go edit software and it said "no device connected". I uninstalled and then re-intalled the software, still got the same results. I then ordered a new USB cable and a new docking station with multiple USB ports as I use a Macbook pro and still having the same issues. Completely baffled to why this issue has occured and does not seem to be changing. Any other advice on how I can fix this issue please.

Howdy, newbe to this forum as well as Pod Go. My current setup is:

Guitar in to Pro input. Fx out to Ed Sheeran Looper X (instrument level) input. Looper Amp out to Pro Fx Return. Main Pro outs to twin Marshall full stacks via the front instrument in.

I put the FX Mono loop right before the amp on the Pro chain. (Speaker box off).

On the looper X. I also have a keyboard input into a ¼ in. Looper input. (As well as two mics.)

My problems are two fold. When I put the Fx Icon in front of the amp icon, I seem to loose some level of the other enabled effects, before it, in the chain. Also, the keyboard has some “added” unwanted effects, like reverb and/or delay! Any recommendations? Thx. In advance, Dan,

	Hi,

I’ve been wondering for a while, why doesn’t the POD Go have the feedbacker block?

I imagine the reason might be DSP limitations.

I wonder if a lighter version has been taken into consideration.

A mini feedbacker with fewer controls, without the Trigger and Re-trigger options to give one example.

It would be better than nothing, that’s for sure!

I totally understand that portability comes with trade-offs, but I feel like a feedbacker would be a great addition, it really helps create that fuller “amp in a box” experience.

	Thanks,
Lando

Hi all, I am seeing a lot of great info here but my search returned nothing on the subject. I know you can change LED colors in snapshot mode, but I would really love to change the LED ring color on my presets outside of snapshot mode and have yet to find any good information. Is that possible, or have I overlooked something simple?

	Hi All.

Looking for some advice for the Pod Go.

What I've been hearing is that if you use a Pod Go with an amp, you need to turn off your amp and IR in the patches, otherwise, if you don't, the two will clash and not give you a good sound.

So, when I do perform live, we have no amps on stage, go direct to the mix and use in ear monitors. And the unit sounds good. But ... when I'm at home setting up presets and trying out tones, the sound never come out the way I want, and I just take my chance it'll sound good live.

Currently I have a Spider V 20 in the practice room (all the other amps I had I gave away when I moved as we couldn't take everything with us)

So, the long story short ... some have suggested using powered speakers or on stage monitors or a PA system for setting up presets and hearing what you've created without the muddling of an amp.

Can anyone recommend one of the three over an amp, or an amp with super clean sound that won't compete with the Pod.

	Thanks for any responses

The Pod Express forum is grayed out for new topics. Maybe a moderator can move this? Any reason the Pod Express forum doesn't work? Or, maybe leave it here, since there have been other complaints about that forum not working.

Anyway, I just got the Pod Express Bass and I'm having a blast playing with it -- it will definitely join my live rig shortly.

I'm hoping the folks here are pretty familiar with it and can help me with some questions:

Is there any way to stop the effects from resetting every time I start up the machine? For example, in the Mutant synth, I will probably never want it in Band Pass mode, only Low Pass. So, I change it to Low Pass in the app, and that's great, but if I leave and come back, it's set to band pass again.

Other than Studio and Punch, the rest of the built-in Amps are pretty distorted, like they have a distortion effect on. I can reduce the gain the get rid of some of that, but then when I go back to that amp, I have to adjust the gain again. Am I just doing something wrong?

In the Android app, let's say I'm on preset 12 and I start fiddling with the sound, and I find another great sound, but I don't want to save it over preset 12, I want to put it on a new preset. Is there any way to do that from within the app, or do I have to press down the Amp knob, rotate it somewhere, and press again to save?

Is there a difference between the Channel Volume setting and the little thumb wheel, when thumb wheel is set to control all volumes? That is, are they independent volume controls?

When setting the Gain, Bass, etc., is there a technique to use where I can adjust that without also modifying the effect on that knob when I let go of the Alt key?

Is the noise gate part of a preset? When does it get reset?

Has anyone put together a cheat sheet that has all the button shortcuts? For example, Alt-Tap-Comp to set the gate level, etc.?

Thanks! I may have more questions -- I've only had this since Saturday...

So I hit the two up and down buttons at the same time to hopefully exit the snapshot mode, but it seems I can't get out of snapshot mode....My patches are in my user and I can no longer access my patche A, B,C, D.

	Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my global EQ settings and would be interested in hearing your brutally honest, but not unkind, feedback.

Currently I use the PodGo through the front of a Deluxe Reverb or through the effects return of the 1st generation Catalyst 60 in manual mode. The PodGO output is set to Line in the global settings for the Catalyst.

As I struggle getting tones that I like with the amp models, my goal is to use the PodGo strictly as a effects when I want, without useing any amp models or cabs.

I did the "jailbreak" on some patches to remove the amp and cab blocks which opened up blocks to add more effects blocks (within available DSP).

I am by no means an advanced user and have used up my patience trying to dial in tones on amps and cabs. Anyway....let me know what you all think (if you care to try my global EQ settings).

	Hi,

My name is Rob and I have a developmental disability which makes it difficult for me to learn from video tutorials. I just purchased a pod go and I'm having a really hard time understanding how it works. Would anyone be willing to spend a few minutes with me by Zoom or Google Meet just to walk me through the basics. I'm more than willing to pay using Venmo or PayPal for your time. I contacted Line 6 Customer Service, and they referred me to more videos, and told me they don't do any on-line tutoring. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

So I was updating my podgo on the podgo editor app and everything was normal untill an error occured and it said something along the lines of "rebooting device to restart update" or something. I waited about 15-30 minute and nothing changed so I decided to turn it off and restart the update. Big mistake, the podgo was frozen on the loading screen and factory reseting it didn't work. So I downloaded the Line 6 updater and put the podgo into update mode and I tried to update the podgo in hopes of unfreezing it but instead, the update just fails instantly. I even tried offline updating it with the file but that didn't work either. Any help please, I spent so much money on this and it doesn't even work. Solution needed ASAP cause Im gonna be gigging with this next week and I don't have the money to just buy another one or other pedals.

When using FS 3/4 to move between presets while in FX mode, the LED ring does not show the correct color or position based on which preset is selected.

When switching between presets 1-7, the indicator shows the correct position, but in red. It really should be white since that's the color used for presets 1-7 when in preset mode (not FX mode). To me, this is a pretty good indication that something is going wrong under the hood.

Additionally, the LED ring doesn't update at all for presets 8-21. It gets stuck in the position of the last preset, and the color remains red. So, if I move up from preset 7 -> 8, the LED stays red in position 7. If I move down from preset 1 -> 21, it stays red in position 1. If I press the switches enough times to get back to 1-7, the LED starts updating again.

When I have it connected to POD Express Edit on my computer, I can see the presets changing as I press FS3/4 all the way from 1-21, so I know the switches are working despite the LED not updating properly.

Hi guys, unfortunately I never have enough time in my hands to go deep into the fx possibilities of the PodGo, and I have never been a pedal/fx expert, so I don't know what I can achieve with what.

I was wondering if there's some kind of FX that is like the kind of electronic violin swell (I know it's a Midi guitar, but one can try to approximate) that sometimes Allan uses on his leads

Even how to achieve an auto swell would be interesting (without using the expression pedal)

Do you guys have any idea?

Or at least an fx which I should try to exploit?

	Thanks

Nothing. Tried resiging in a few times and still nothing. No window to start the update proceedure appears.

Now, in green letters at the bottom of the PodGo Edit screen it says "Updates Available" so I thought I'd try that. A window does appear but it says"the following updates are available for" PodGo Edit 2.0 and for Pod Go Firmware 2.1.

Again, I'm trying to load Edit and Firmware for 2.5.

Never had an issue before. What's wrong?

Hello, I feel like I'm having a component malfunction on my Line 6 Pod Go. I have had the Pod Go for a few years now and it's been great. The other day, I turned it on and was using an 80s'ish metal preset that I created a while ago and it sounded like someone put a blanket over the highs and the initial attack of the note is completely muffled now. I'm aware of Pod Go impedance issues and using global or preset EQ's to make things sound better but this happened out of nowhere without any changes being made to the preset. Working fine one day, come back the next day, turn it on, and it sounds completely different without me having made any updates. I tested the guitar and cable using the Pod Go as an interface to use a Neural plugin and everything sounded fine, so that rules out the cable or the guitar being the problem. Has anyone encountered this before? If this is a problem with the Pod Go, how would I even go about diagnosing it and it getting it fixed?

	Hello

I have a problems with Line6 POD GO updates.

I am trying to update the latest firmware for it, but there is at the moment showing only starting screen (red edges with black center) in normal startup.

The red edges with black screen is the same figure which is showing first always when you start the POD Go by normally.

But now it is stuck in this screen.

So, I have tried to manually update it with Line6 Updater and Line 6 Central in offline mode.

Also tried with online mode, but always the update stops for error message.

Original firmware is 1.30.0 and I have tried to update it for 1.10, 1.40, 2.01 and 2.50 but always the same error message which tells that update fails.

Tried factory reset with key combination C and D pushed down when powering on but nothing happened.

So, what can I try to do that I can fix this problem ?

I've been using the Pod Go Wireless for live gigs and noticed occasional signal dropouts, especially in crowded venues. My firmware is updated, and the transmitter battery is full. Has anyone else faced this? Could this be due to wireless interference, or is there a deeper issue with the device? Would love to hear from others who’ve experienced this—and any tips you’ve got for boosting reliability on stage www.mycardstatement.com

Recently bought a 2nd hand PodGo as a backup for my Helix.

Just wondering if it is possible to change the name of the preset lists?

I don't need the factory presets and would like to change the name of the list ... not a major issue at all, but can't really figure out if this is possible.

	Thanks!

Hi, I would like to request the addition of a new feature called “EXP2 Curve” to the global settings. The reason is as follows.

I use Pod Go for two ways. The first is when I connect an external expression pedal to EXP2 for volume control and use the built-in pedal for wah. The second is to use simply Pod Go only, in which case I do not use wah. This varies depending on the gig.
My external expression pedal is an Ernie Ball VP Junior. This pedal is technically a volume pedal, but it can be used as an expression pedal by connecting a cable to the OUT jack.
The issue is that this pedal uses an “A-curve pot (logarithmic),” so if the volume curve setting on the effect edit page is set to logarithmic, the volume changes become too sudden (logarithmic x logarithmic!). Setting the volume curve to linear resolves the issue, but when not using an external pedal this is undesirable as the built-in volume pedal's curve is “B-curve (linear)”

If there were a function to specify the volume curve of an external expression pedal in the global settings, the issue would be completely resolved. There is a function called EXP1/2 Polarity, and this new EXP2 Curve function can be placed near the Polarity function.
Adding this function would expand the choices for external pedals.

thanks.

Let me explain.

With the footswitches attached to the POD GO, the default is for the lights to go on and off. I purchased a Hotone Amoero footswitch, and was able to get it working perfectly.

BUT...I soon realized at practice that there's no real way to determine if it's on or off. Sure, if it's distortion vs clean....just use your ears. But otherwise, forget it. I did eventually swap over to the view where you can see the pedal chain, but you REALLY have to peek at it to see whats on and off.

So, does anyone do this in a live situation? Did you end up replacing (or buying, initially) a pedal that DOES have a light? It's a "catch 22" because this doesnt need power, and I'd rather just use the power supply that comes with the pod go and nothing else. And the reason for the extra 7/8 switches is for a solo boost. But now I am realizing it may not work. Thoughts? What do you do?

First, how to post a question to the POD Express Forum?

Fiddling with the dial on the left side of the POD Express doesn't balance the volume when the pedal is Off with when it is On. When the pedal is on, it's got plenty of volume. When the pedal is switched Off, it's way too quiet.

	Thanks,
