  1. Cool! Just purchased today. For registered HX/Helix owners, it’s hard to argue with that price.

  3. Hi, It clearly states in the email that the 30% off promo is only for the Line 6 expansion packs for POD HD and XT, POD Farm etc. If you want some of Glenn’s excellent presets, then pay the price he is asking. It’s not that much for the work he has put into them and some also have custom IRs. Disclaimer: Helix presets are available from other sources and definitely do not guarantee that you will sound like the artist referred to in the name of the preset. Ya pay your money and ya take a chance!

  5. You have several ways to find the tones you're looking for. Scroll through the presets already programmed in the amp. Find one that comes close to your desired tones, and tweak the front panel controls to taste. Use the Spider Edit program to make it easy to scroll through the presets and have vusual icons to show you what you're hearing, Go to customtone to find presets that work for the type of song. You can do a search to help you find them. https://line6.com/customtone/browse/spiderv/ Connect your amp to a Iphone or Android phone and download the Spider V app. You can search presets there too. Remember- Every guitar and guitarist sound different, so take a preset as a starting point. You should learn how to tweak the amp, cabinet and effects parameters. Many classic rock tones use a lot of different effects, amps and guitars. Good luck! (I take American Express or Visa, lol!)

  8. @rsvette12 please share your experiences when you receive the product :)! I am about to get my helix floor at the end of this month and I am thinking about ordering this asap, as for touring this seems perfect to keep the pedalboard safe :)

  9. Well then I guess all the sound companies need to replace their line arrays with guitar cabinets, huh? HINT: perceived loudness is subjective, actual volume is measured and objective. You might perceive you're going 120 mph in a car when the speedometer says you're only going 90. I've run shows where the guy cranks his Marshall through a 4x12 cabinet and refuses to turn it down, so I mute his PA channel. Around row 10 he won't be heard above the rest of the band, nor will he be heard on the opposing side of the stage. Everyone else in the band will be heard clearly throughout the auditorium. By the way, I'm not the only sound guy that does this.....it's an old trick that's been used quite often.

  10. Hi, I've just registered my new amp and I've got the code for the Cubase download but there is a Cubase le 10 and a Cubase le 9.5 to choose from and I don't know what one i'm supposed to download. I've already tried downloading Cubase le 10 but that downloads the full 15gb then hits me with an error message then doesn't install. So I was wondering if i'm only meant to be installing the Cubase le 9.5 instead? I'm a little hesitant to try installing this in case it messes up my chance to register the Cubase le 10 version. edit: it turned out that it's v9.5.
