  1. Your Autumn should be the same day as our spring, it's when the sun is in line with the equator. Or more precisely put, when 2.8 starts to come into view. Science just isn't able to predict yet when it will be fully visible.

  2. Super excited about HX Unity. That is great feature. Now if they could just add the Tuner to HX Edit.

  3. That's correct. The Aux In signal is not affected by any of the amp controls, the only way to adjust the sound (including volume) is with your playback device.

  4. Whoa man, that's simply awesome. Really appreciated your test. I wanted to use that complicated routing because I'm both lazy and nerd, so I like to set up my gear in the most flexible yet less tangled way possible. Using the 3 loop method, I could set the "fixed" loop for my amp, with the choice to completely cut it off from the chain using amp sims if I need a lighter setup, and use the two "normal" loops for analog gain stages (positioned in front of the amp which is in the fixed loop) or analogic modulations (after the amp). That way I could set up my pedalboard once for all, doing a nice and tidy routing, and have only so lay down the two cables of the "fixed loop" if needed. That way the third artificial loop is "always on", as an amp is usually supposed to be, and I could cutting it away from the chain simply changing patch or preset. My final goal is to use the stomp as a all-in-one brain for my rig, retaining flexibility and awesome sound quality. Hope I was clear on my project! ;) Thanks again man! :D

  5. I was going to reply by simply saying, "Yes, it ought to be able to do that," but I was bored and so to be cautious I tested it. It was easier for me to conceive of if I had the FX loops on path B and the path to the Amp on path A, but either path should work (so I did the reverse of what you described path wise). A few things I did to ensure it worked: 1. You have to move the Y split block far left and hard pan the two channels left and right. 2. The paths have to re-merge since the send block is no longer an option. To ensure they stayed separate I also hard panned the merge block left and right. I tested it extensively. I was able to activate each fx loop by the tap of a footswitch. The third artificial FX loop I was only able to activate by pushing the button of the actual pedal, but other than that it worked perfectly. I'm very curious as to why you would want such a complicated setup, but whatever the reason, it works.

  7. Well, I got the iRig Acoustic Stage and had a chance to try it in the studio, and was surprised by the sound quality. It uses a MEMS microphone clipped to the sound hole, so its VERY sensitive to guitar noises (buttons on sleeves, rings on fingers, string squeaks, etc). You have to play carefully and clean. But the sound is surprisingly full-range and rich. I plan on doing takes with my usual small diaphragm condenser mic along with the iRig, so I can blend the two as needed. Certainly worth the $70 I paid. I doubt I'll use it for live gigs as I play close to my Bose L1 array, and normally need a sound hole cover to discourage feedback. I think it might be overly sensitive, but I might give it a try some day. @datacommando, sorry yours failed so quickly. I hope mine fares better! Three uses is a poorer return than a nice bottle of wine or spliff of Blue Hawaiian.

  8. **THIS** Guys, first I want to thank you all so very much for your support and words of encouragement throughout this journey. What Aaron_A said here is the exact reason why I have never ever offered any sales on any of my products since I opened my website for digital downloads starting in February of 2013. I would never want anyone to pay a certain price for one of my products and then the very next week it's 20% off, or whatever . . . That wouldn't sit well with me and it wouldn't sit well with any of my customers. I think it's the reason why so many of you have been continued supporters of my products and my music throughout the years, and for that I am very very thankful. So the price for any of my items is the same no matter if you get it from my Secure website or the New Line 6 Marketplace. Speaking of the Line 6 Marketplace I'd encourage you guys to go check out some of my friends products on there. I'm talking about my friends Jason S, Peter H, Ben V & Robbie C. They have some top notch products. Thank you guys so much for your continued support. Glenn DeLaune Website | Youtube Channel | Facebook | Line 6 Marketplace

  10. You have to connect the amp to your PC using a USB cable. There is a switch on the back of the amp to select USB or iPhone, so select USB. Download the Spider Remote program from this site. Go to the Customtone page, and find a preset that might work. Download that preset to your computer Load the Spider Remote program and navigate to a slot where you want to load the new preset. Click on the Load/Save tab, click on "Import tone to Spider V" Select the previously saved preset. Click Open. The new preset should be loaded and "Bob's your uncle"!

  11. You have several ways to find the tones you're looking for. Scroll through the presets already programmed in the amp. Find one that comes close to your desired tones, and tweak the front panel controls to taste. Use the Spider Edit program to make it easy to scroll through the presets and have vusual icons to show you what you're hearing, Go to customtone to find presets that work for the type of song. You can do a search to help you find them. https://line6.com/customtone/browse/spiderv/ Connect your amp to a Iphone or Android phone and download the Spider V app. You can search presets there too. Remember- Every guitar and guitarist sound different, so take a preset as a starting point. You should learn how to tweak the amp, cabinet and effects parameters. Many classic rock tones use a lot of different effects, amps and guitars. Good luck! (I take American Express or Visa, lol!)

  12. Copy the block before you change it. If you then want to go back to your original setting just paste the block back into the chain.

  13. Just a guess as I don't use it this way, but in Windows, get to the Sound panel in Control Center. On the Recording Tab, set the Helix as the default. Then use a separate path in your preset with "Mic" as the input and USB 1/2 as output. Plug your mic into the Mic input. That should get it. Post back and let us know if it worked, I'm curious.
