  1. Fuzz pedals can always be a bit tricky with different amps (mid-scooped Fender vs Marshall etc). But the Dt25 with its different amp topologies (from Fender-y clean to gainy) should offer a platform that works with your fuzz. Unless you override the topologies (with MIDI or a Pod HD) and put some high-gain models in there.

  2. Gig levels is a relative term, but generally anything around 85 to 100 db is sufficient. I think of gig levels as stage volume levels rather than FOH levels coming our of the PA which hopefully are MUCH different levels for you. The settings I use with my DXR12 set to unity or mid-point on the gain knob and my Helix big knob volume at about 1 o'clock is probably around 90 db which doesn't seem to bother any of my neighbors. Many of them have commented they enjoy listening to me practice. But then I don't normally practice at night or early in the morning either.

  3. When weird behaviors of the POD happen the suggested cure is always the same, ie: 1) - save your patches to your computer 2) - re-install the latest firmware without retaining your patches when asked during the flashing procedure 3) - do a global reset (important step which needs to be done after any flashing, to avoid unexpected weird behaviors) 4) - do a pedal calibration (important step which needs to be done after any reset, to avoid unexpected weird behaviors) 5) - re-load your previously saved patches in your device by using the editor _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All about POD HD500/X help and useful tips

Saludos

  5. > POD XT volume diferences between patches When you factory-reset the unit, the default patches will still have volume differences. Also, many of the default patches have very strange settings and are not musically usable until they are edited. Further, the stomp, modulation, delay and wah effects themselves all have weird default settings (which require editing every single time you build a patch). I don't know why the unit is set-up that way. The defaults could have been much better. Note that when you reset it, you will lose any amp/effects packs that have been bought and added by previous owners. Also I've read that if something goes wrong during the reset process, you could 'brick' the unit. If you do need access to the preset patches, you can get them by connecting the unit to a computer via the Monkey software. This also allows you to download patches which users have uploaded to the CustomTone website. So, taking everything into consideration, personally I wouldn't do a reset unless it is really necessary.
