  1. I use a mono "Simple Delay" block on one side immediately after the stereo split and set time to 10ms, feedback to 0%, mix to 100%. This creates a pretty huge stereo image. My dad has a Strymon Deco and the effect is similar to the "Wide Stereo Mode" on that pedal.

  2. I've never seen this particular problem before. Are you located on a major conjunction of Ley Lines? :-) But seriously, I would open a support ticket. Just copy the two posts you made about it. Unless it can be duplicated, there's probably not much they can do, but at least there's a record of it.

  5. Hi, HO You may want to update your link to https://helixhelp.com as Jason Shimkoski, the creator of the site, moved over to the new version of the site in April 2019. As you’re aware the old site is still functioning, but no longer updated. Still an amazing resource for any Helix related queries. See this post on the old site. https://helixhelp.wordpress.com/2019/04/ Hope this helps

  7. Volume/Pan -> Stereo -> Stereo Width with RPolarity set to Invert enhances the stereo width. Adjust with Width. This puts the stereo sides in paraphase. It's a strong effect. Use with caution: when you mix both sides to mono they cancel each other out and the sound disappears. Alternatively try this delay trick.

  8. Absolutely. Line6 updater for Windows can be d/led standalone, but the package does not install drivers. My Windows machine reported "warning" entries (yellow triangle with an exclamation mark) for the Helix in Windows Device Manager (devmgmt.msc) and Line6 updater did not see my HX Stomp until I installed the drivers with the HX Edit package - which incidentally also contains the updater. N.b. my experience is with HX Stomp, but I think it may also apply to other models.

  9. Of course. Makes perfect sense. Avoid line6 products because you expected to get $300 dollars off a software product that was only on sale for those who bought the Helix new, with the unregistered software version of the product. You expected the company to gift you something, and blame them when you made the mistake. What gives you some special privilege? Why should they give the deal on the software TWICE - losing $600 total, just because you think you deserve it, and then think the company is in some way at fault? The sense of entitlement of some people.
