  1. Hello, I just recently purchased a MacBook and I have dusted off my old Line6 UX1 with hopes to use it with Apple's Logic. However, I have updated my MacOS to the new Big Sur before downloading any Line6 software. I now see that Line6 software products are incompatible with the new OS11. I am hoping to plug my guitar in and experiment with Logic's capabilities during my temporary trial period. Am I out of luck until the next Line6 software update? Is there an estimate for that update's arrival? Thank you

  2. Hey there, HX Stomp newbie here. I recently bought a HX stomp and a Boss ES-5 effects switcher to upgrade my pedalboard. So far everything works pretty good, but i have one problem i can't solve. I use the ES-5 to send MIDI commands to the HX stomp. Every time i press a switch on the ES-5 it sends a program change (PC) to select a preset on the Stomp and also a Midi CC #69 (values 0-2) to select a snapshot of that preset. However, i only get to the wanted snapshot if the Stomp preset is already active. But if the stomp does indeed need to change the preset it seems to ignore the CC #69 and will always start with the snapshot that was last edited in HX edit or on the stomp itself. Does anyone know a solution for this? Could it be a bug? My firmware is at V 3.01.0. Thanks in advance.

  3. For example, we have a lot of people who sell their units but want be able to view patches for so that they can do the same settings on a different device. I didn't say it would help solve your issue. I was just stating that, yes, the editor does work without a unit connected - ie, the driver.

  4. Speaking of gullibility, did you know that ‘gullible’ isn’t even a word? You won’t find it in the dictionary.

  5. I'd like to think so... but it won't happen. Gullibility, "keeping up with the Jones' ", and the FOMO mentality have made planned obsolescence the most successful marketing strategy of all time. We're all in... from "built to last" to "built to $hit the bed right on schedule" in two generations. Sad.

  6. Hey @Rezzy777 glad that everything worked out in the end. Was browsing on the WIDI Master site and saw this https://www.cme-pro.com/widi-uhost/ . Wondering if this would allow you to do what you originally wanted (seems like it would).. EDIT: Although it doesn't seem to be available just yet..

  7. When I got the PC212, the first thing I did was set the Stereo Width to 200% (MAX) and loaded up a stereo preset. It sounded like the speakers were 8 feet apart! I have my PC212 between my FRFR112 and my Studio Monitors which are about 4 feet to either side of the PC212, and it sounded like that was where the sound was coming from. The preset has a phaser, and it was disorienting! I had to narrow the field, finally settling on 125% as ideal for my ears. That sounds a bit wider than my Studio Monitors (6"), which are about 4 feet apart. When I stated above that the the separation is AWESOME, that was NOT hyperbole! I have no clue how it works, but it sounds GREAT!

  8. Finally found a solution. You can create an "aggregate device" in your IMac so you can use two audio interfaces at once without clock misalignment. This way you can still run your speakers from your regular audio interface (i.e. Scarlett) but also use the Pod Go as an interface via USB. This eliminates the need to run your monitors directly from the Pod Go. https://musictechtraining.com/aggregate-device-logic-pro-x/

  9. Thanx, this is exactly what I have been reading. Getting the monitors on a stand was I was planning. Getting them away from the back wall will be a challenge. Maybe I pull back my desk a few inches.

  10. fwiw I'm not sure this is anything new. It was definitely there in 3.0 (don't recall what that screen looks like on 2.9x), but as a midi user, I kind of appreciate it & hope it sticks around. I also found it in a screenshot on a L6 wiki page: https://helixhelp.com/manuals/helix/midi/
