  1. It's not software; its simply an external independent script file that is patch specific. It therefore can't alter or corrupt the Pod Go firmware. Further, Line 6 is not only fully aware of JSON file manipulation but it has quite openly expressed surprise that this wasn't 'discovered' by Pod Go customers earlier. If there was any risk to Pod Go or that this might invalidate warranties, I'm pretty sure Line 6 would have said something and issued a warning before now!

  2. AFAIK unfortunately not; it would certainly be a useful feature to have though. You can cut/copy/paste but if all 4 snaps have been used, this means you'd lose one which isn't helpful.

  3. I have a fairly new Pod Go and love it. But sometimes when I turn the upper selection knob (between View and Action) counter-clockwise, it doesn't change the selection (eg, between pedals or presents). When this happens I have to turn it so it clicks 2 - 3 times before it "takes" and goes to the next selection. Has anyone else had this issue with Go, Helix, HD or anything else? I'm concerned that this might continue to fail more over time.

  4. Ok hopefully it's software and will be fixed lol But honestly I'm 99% sure it's hardware. Just the nature of the knob L6 has chosen. Another argument for hardware; have you ever pushed a button on the Go (Page, footswitch, etc.) and had the software 'bug' and not do the action? Plus there's basically 3 screens used by that rotary knob; switching patches scrolling through your effects chain scrolling through effects when editing a block And all of these show the intermittent rotary knob issue; if it was just one screen when scrolling very fast and hitting DSP limit, ok, but yeah the odds are extremely low that there's a software bugs in all those screens which just happen to coincide with this particular knob...! And the 2nd knob has the exact same issue, the one used for scrolling up/down in effects, etc. So yeah, I'd say 99.9% certain it's hardware. L6 should know, but the support tech likely doesn't have the answer on scrip, but for sure their QA must be well aware of the issue. Another proof it's hardware; again, just navigate left/right on your effects chain, that has zero impact on any setting and isn't altering anything, yet you'll still get a ~10% knob failure rate. Now do the same with each footswitch, which actually impacts effects, modifies lights, also move the selected block in your chain, you'll get 0% failure rate. 99.99% certain it's hardware. ;)

  5. You can use this guide to get pod hdx running on your mac. The driver issue is a known issue. https://line6.com/support/topic/47572-guide-to-installing-pod-hd500x-on-os-x-mojave/

  7. I made 2 tracks as shown on the video of Sean, 1 with 1-2 usb input the second with 7. Output 1-2 and 7. I armed both of the tracks, but on 7 there is no signal at all. I used mixcraft 7 pro and reaper, both the same problem. All mi settings on helix is as Sean's video.

  8. Have you checked to make sure that the Re-amp Source for USB 7 on Helix is set to your desired input? It's in Global Settings -> Ins/Outs page 2.

  9. 1 year after the original post, my brand new Pod Go has the same issue with the knobs (firmware v1.40). I'm going to exchange for a new unit. Hopefully that one is okay
