Symptom: User cannot complete the login for the WiFi update process.
Helix Stadium customer connects to preferred WiFi network, and tries to login for updates.
The login screen shows a blank QR code (_ _ _ _ _ _). After clicking on 'Login with Username', the user's credentials are entered and highlighted in green once complete. The Login button does not move the process forward.
Workarounds:
1. Set the Date/Time to OFF within Global Settings, then set it manually to today's date. After that, try the login with the WiFi connection still on within the Stadium login screen.
2. Some users have found that toggling the WiFi feature OFF, then back ON should allow them to re-connect to login screen, and the QR code will then appear. Allow for login.
Ignore the following step until the first two options are tried and produce no results.
3. Install the latest firmware with Line 6 Central via USB-C cable.
For Windows, it’s good to install the Helix Stadium app first, but it doesn’t allow for updates. You’ll need to use Line 6 Central 1.04 for the update process.
Once they have both installed, only open Line 6 Central. When Stadium XL is connected, click on the option to download the latest update. The update goes in two parts: first it downloads, then it ask to “Perform” the update.
