I've given up on waiting for a 'leftie' and so want to buy a JTV-89F James Tyler Variax and play it upside down - I'm used to playing right handed Stratocasters a la Hendrix so I'm not bothered about the controls/plug being upside down/wrong way around. 
What do I need to do about the electrics? I believe that the leads to the piezo's need to be reversed (swapping high E with low E, B with the A string etc). How exactly is this done on the JTV-89F (I need to give my luthier detailed instructions before he will take on the job)? 

They were all corrupted.... but a factory reset sorted the problem. Thanks for the email telling me how to do that. 

Running HX Effects firmware v2.54 & HX Edit v2.52 on a Windows 10 PC.
HX Effects cannot run a backup as error code -8606 appears when the program gets to 'Presets'.
Also, the only screen that is available in HX Edit shows the Presets but no further info is shown and the only options are to copy/import/export them. The 'Impulses' screen is blank.
I've tried on 2 PC's and the results are identical.
Any ideas as to what's wrong?
