  1. Has anyone suffered a bust ring, no jokes thanks ? Two of mine have crapped out. I’m in the UK and looking to get the replacement parts to fit, it shouldn’t be too hard. Any help

    would be appreciated.

  2. Iv just got an alto 210 and I'm really happy! I have it on the floor (wooden) wedge style. Iv stopped using global eq and now cut on the cabs, 50-80 low and 7-6 high. It sounds great. I have the helix at noon on the volume and alto really low for home playing.

  3. Just wanted to mention that my band did indeed do "Let It Rain" at our Saint Patrick's Day gig and I used the preset you designed with some tweaks to make it sound right through my stage and FOH setup. Just awesome! The way you set up the intro, rhythm, lead1, and lead2 snapshots was just perfect. I have played that song many times before but never with four distinct sounds set up for the four different song parts. We sounded better and more authentic on that song than we ever had previously! Great job on that preset, it will get plenty of use! My humble thanks!

One more note.... I found it interesting that you placed the harmony/pitch block between the amp and the cab. I would never have thought to place it there and it really gives the harmonies a smooth sound. I have implemented that placement in a couple of my own presets as a result I liked the sound so much.

Thanks for taking the time to say thanks. I put a considerable amount of time into the patches/videos and they get lots of views and downloads but most can't be arsed to say thank you yet who charge get god like status ??? Your thank you makes it worth my effort!

  4. Thanks a bunch CBTL. Haven't got acces to YT, but will download the patch. Your Floyd patches are excellent BTW!!!

EDIT: OK, so I took your Eric Soldano patch and then duplicated the EQ block (exact same parameters), linking them both to Mid Boost FS2 and now I have the sound and all sustain I was after. Don't know how accurate it is, but it sounds so good that I don't care at this point... :-) Thanks again!

I'm glad you like it and that it works for you 😀

  5. There are some bugs with variax and helix intergration. Clear all controllers from the input block per patch (via Helix, not on editor) then reassign as needed for your snaps etc. I'm having to do this all the time. It seems to be on any patch not created by the current firmware. I wonder if 2.2 will be the same?

  6. Well, if you have the mix at anything less than 100, and move the delay block to a parallel path, the overall dry signal will increase because you actually have two dry signals at that point. If you have the mix at 100, though, it shouldn't make a big difference in the overall volume.

In a parallel path only a maximum of 50% of your signal can be effected. So on whatever effect your using 100 = 50, 50 = 25, 25 = 12.5 and so on.

  7. I'm not sure I understand what it meant by this statement...

On the Helix, if you put the mix parameter at 100%, what that means is you have 100% wet, 0% dry. If you want equal parts wet and dry, set the mix to 50%. If you have the block in a parallel path, you probably want to leave the mix at 100, and use the level parameter in the split block to control the level of the effect.

Take delay! At 100% in a standard path your repeats will be very loud. Put the same delay with the exact same settings on a parallel path and your repeats will be half the volume. Make sense? I use it a lot with modulations and delays. You will only get half of the max output of the effect. Do I make sense?

  8. I am so desperate for one of the I would consider the sale of my bottom to fund it. I would certainly go Helix fx loop then you can play with location. I think between amp and cab might be good. I would also put it on a parallel path with a volume pedal in front so you can accurately swell it in and out.
