Hi, I wondered if it's possible to pan the inputs in monitor mode independently of the main output mode? I'm using in-ears in stereo and would like to pan the inputs in my in-ears without necessarily panning them in the main PA. Thank you for your help.

Thank you bassman24, that's the problem! I have to do that and then the M20D understands that it's a new card and shows its content. I thought the M20D could automatically detect a new card... but it does not work like that. Cheers

Hi, I have 2 SD cards (let's say card 1 and card 2) and they both worked until yesterday. But yesterday when I want to read recorded songs on card 2 using the RECORD screen, I get a question mark in top left corner followed by the other songs recorded on card 1. There is a search icon turning indefinitely. But card 2 works normally if I backup my presets on it and it is recognized by the M20D in the SETUP screen where I can see its icon in the top left corner. Card 2 runs also normally on my PC. How come? Thank you for your help

I'm plugging my acoustic in the Aux input and it goes out from the Send output to the mixer. It works really well. As phil_m said, you just need to put the FX block at the end of the chain. You can you the many HD500X FXs before it if you want to. I did not insert any amp in my acoustic chain.

Now that the HD500X has more power, it'd be nice to have a polyphonic pitch shifter... :)

I'd like the remote option to work with an iPhone as well, at least each track volumes.

I've had my HD500X for a few days now and compared to my former HD500 you can clearly use 2 amps and still have a reasonable choice of FXs, which was not possible before. So IMO the 20% more power is really useful.

I've found that the FBS does not work with some instrument presets. For instance it did not work with my acoustic guitar because I had selected the Stereo direct as a preset but when I changed the preset to Acoustic Mic'd it worked.

Well yes I could do that but I don't want to lose the HD500 Edit program otherwise I cannot save my HD500 patches any more...

Ok thank you. That process still seems rather unsure to me. I wont upgrade to HD500X if I'm not 100% sure I can import my sounds. Can someone from Line6 confirm what is and what is not possible in that respect?

Oh really... I've always saved my HD500 sounds as bundles. Is it possible to save each sound and import them? Tedious but...

Please confirm you can import your HD500 sounds into the HD500x without problems at all...

No because it's not in the library. It's actually nowhere apart from the controller strip. I can move it but that's all.

It's not in the Stage Icon Gallery.

But it's not in the Icon Gallery, it's on the controller strip at the bottom of the screen...

Yes both inputs for my tone are set to Aux. But I don't understand your second sentence "..you're sending it two inputs"?

That means the file format is the same or is 100% compatible. The procedure is this then: - Save you presets with the HD500 Edit program - Update your HD500 Edit program to the HD500X - Import your saved preset in the HD500X

I get white noise too and I need to put the FX Loop block before the mixer because I'm using the Send to go to an input of the M20D. I don't know what to do...

If the HD500X Edit program does not recognize the HD500, I don't see how we can import the HD500 sounds...?

I still have the same problem with stereo delay that remains mono. My guitar is connected to the Aux in and output from the Send using a stereo TRS and that goes to 2 entries of the M20D. Each entry is panned hard left / hard right and I correctly get the sound of the guitar left and right. But the stereo delay that is first in my chain of FXs remains in the center... Can you please help me? Thank you.

Good, thank you. I suppose you have to first install the new version of the HD500X computer software and it will recognize the HD500...? Do you have any details about the procedure?
