Hello all.  

Since I updated my helix, LT to firmware 3.5, I am having issues with  presets. Sometimes when I switch presets, it won't show any stop boxes on the screen while in stomp box mode but when I switch to a different preset and come back, that seems to fix the problem. Does anyone else have this issue? If so, were you able to fix it?

I tried the new Princeton model when I was coming up with the Mike Campbell style set up. Now, I use it for everything. Sounds great with the Les Paul. Sounds great with the tele. Takes pedals great. Dynamic.  Definitely worth the update.

Every IR I have tried has been set to -18. Is this an industry standard or something? If so, why -18?

Can someone explain to me what type of impulse responses work on the helix? I know that cab impulse responses and acoustic guitar impulse responses work, but are there others?

I couldn't find Garageband either but, if you upgraded, and had it anytime before, you can find it in your purcahses and it will download fine.  

Anyone try running a helix through the poweramp of an AX2 212?  I can get one for cheap and was hoping it might be a neutral speaker.  

Is it possible for me to switch my two channel Egnater Rebel 30 (tip/ring cable) with my helix?  If so, how?  

I am using Helix preamps running into the effects return of a Rivera Chubster 55, by passing the Rivera's preamp.  Should my global settings be on line or instrument?   

Nailed it.  Thank you!  I also found the 90 degree plug included with teh g10 (which I forgot was there) solved my problem.  

I have a Michael Kelly Hybrid Special with a piezo under the bridge.  It doesn't work on its own with the piezo but when I use the supplied right angle adapter, its very noisy when I switch back to the magenitc pickups.  Any suggestions?

Thanks for the tip.  Ebay Canada has no used units at this time and I have scoured Craigslist and Kijiji with nobody willing to ship the unit.
