    Hi,

Ah, if you have a MacBook Pro is is very simple - just connect it to your Helix with the USB cable. The Helix is class complient for use with Apple Mac computers and should show up as an Output Device from your Menu bar. You can play tracks from your Music (iTunes) app, Spotify etc.

For the iPad you may need to use the Apple Camera Connection Kit. (ACCK)

If you have GarageBand you can also use your Helix to Record your guitar.

    Hope this helps/makes sense.

    Salut,

    Perfect your explanations !

    Thanks again

    Ok perfect. Thank you

    Salut,

Thank you very much for all these informations. I'll try with my iPad or my Android smartphone via the send/return connector.

  4. Good evening
I would like to connect my smartphone to the Helix to play backing tracks or Spotify songs at the same time. I've tried using the USB port on the Helix but it doesn't work. I should point out that the pod is then plugged into my speaker.
I don't use the pod as an audio interface to a computer. Have you tested this? Is it possible?
Thanks in advance for your feedback

    Regards

  5. Hi i reinstall thé firmware as suggested by the support and no problem.

    See the answer

  6. Here are a few examples:

Record Inputs and Main Mix: you might use this option when you want to make a base recording, then adjust the overall mix during playback of the dry recorded channels. At any time you can playback the recorded main mix to listen carefully and identify points where a change to a specific channel is desirable. Then make that change and playback the dry channels again. Over many iterations you create a new 'main mix' that you play and compare to the playback of the originally recorded main mix. Having perfected your overall mix you SAVE the setup for the gig.

Record Inputs only: you would use this when you have no intention of adjusting the mix on the M20D. You're just capturing the dry channels for transfer to a DAW for VST processing.

Record Main Mix only: again you have no intention of using the M20D for further mixing. You just want to record a live take for transfer to a PC and MP3 formatting.

    Hi

With the Main Mix, are the FX recorded ?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

    Phil

  7. yes you need to plug the pod and launch line 6 monkey to update

just besure to have the last version of monkey

    To check

go in the setup of the pod ( hold view) and go to the last "page" with de joystick (press right)

normaly at the end you can see of the packs are installed or not .

    Yes I did that.

    Thank you

  8. Yep, you need to plug the Pod to see the new amps.

However, if you turn off the POD after being connected, the HDEdit continues to show the amps pack while the program is still open.

    OK thank you

Even turn off the pod must be connected, that is correct?

  9. Hi

I bought them an install into my PodHD500.

Last night, without the pod, i try to see via the PodHD Edit software the amps in the packs but see nothing.

I need to plug the pod to see the new amps ? Because the "originals" amps are seen in the software.

    Thank you for answer.

    Philippe
