I'm a new user of the pod hd 500x
Need some help for a situation that I am in right now. I know I should have used the search bar, I did.
But I got so confused at the end
I am currently using the current patch above for my tones for my recording/playing at home through my monitors. And I have no problems with that.
A few days back, I went for a band practice for the first time with my pod.
So I hooked up the pod with the in studio JCM 800 using the 4 cable method. And it sound just like total crap. So I went home, and researched. Found out that I have to use an fx loop block and the pre amp of the amp modeller itself. But I'm still confused actually.
So my question is, where do I place the FX block in the pod if i want to use the amp models of my pod instead of the preamp of the amp. And how do i set it all up. It would be good if I have some visual guide. I can't really test it out because I don't have an amp with the fx loop. Plus the jamming studio that i went is 1 hour away and I have to pay to use it.
