Either it's time for the tubes to be replaced, or there's an intermittent solder point somewhere.

Take it to a Line 6 authorized service center and have them check it out and service it.

Check the user manual online about adjusting the display contrast. Many times it's just that

it got maladjusted by mistake somehow. It happens. Check that before spending on service repair.

Could be a solder point on a board. That would require a trip to an authorized service center.

Or, a loose retainer nut, resulting in a loose chassis ground on one of the control potentiometers.

Register your guitar in your Line 6 account, then log a Support ticket in your account ticketing section.

It's more than likely the set-up,... fret buzz, warbling from pick-ups being too close to

strings (like silverhead said), or both. 

No, stick with the Line 6 charger, they are the best match. Sony charge/discharge rate is not right for these,

chance of something getting damaged.

Manual, page 9,... should be able to de-link, for amount of de-tuning between

the fundamental and octave stings from 0 to +/- an octave.

In Workbench HD,... there is a virtual switch to enable the strings, then adjust the tuning.

Tonerider Rock Song TRH1B pick-up has a DCR= 11.8k Ohms, that will have a dark tone EQ.

Use pick-ups with 6k-8k Ohms for proper impedance matching.

Probably the "battery/supply",... amp input is design for non-powered pedals.

Giving the amp too much. Blinding the input, all it sees is DC volts.

Try using a passive electronics pedal.

Mags or piezos,... with the mags, it's the set-up, string distance from pole pieces have to be correct or warbling and attenuations can occur.

Being on the edge of fretting out on those string can attenuate,... also a set-up thing.

With piezos, it's about tension, as the mechanical energy transforms into electric energy. 9's or lighter don't give enough tension and 12's are

too much, so 10's and 11's are the best and optimum for these piezos.
