A fully updated Helix should be able to serve as an interface.
Your serial number would have the current Flash versions (2.22 or v2.23).

That first post shows Monkey and not Workbench HD.

" Will any of the other JTV jack plates work in theJTV69s? " --- No. That is why there is a dash 1, 2 and 3.
1) The curve of the plate is different, so the fit will be different. 2) the cable harness from the jacks to the
main board are different lengths. 3) The ground leads in each version are different lengths.
There's a bunch of product an parts on cargo ships (some 90+) off the California coast waiting to dock and unload.
Check with Full Compass. Also, register your JTV-69 in your account, then check with Line 6 authorized service center
to see if they can change one out for you.

No problem. :)

Yes.
Used on JTV, Standard and Shuriken guitars.
-
All four blink when you reset to factory defaults.
-
It's in the Line 6 Downloads page, up to Mac OS X Mountain Lion or Windows 10.
-
-
For old Workbench on a Mac, it will only go as high as Mac OS 10.8 Mountain Lion.

700 is not a Standard, hey two different guitars. 700 is old Variax, the Standard is of a
Yamaha Pacifica design that we make.
I will move this into the correct topic location.

Which Variax do you have?

A PC and a MIDI box with its app program, to control MID commands through the MIDI I/O, might be useful.
See page 43-44 in the manual.
As far as any mods go,... Line 6 does not support modifications to its products. Any modifications are done any your own risk.

Tremolo for a Variax 700 Electric won't fit in a Standard bridge.
Workbench HD is compatible with Mac OS 10.11.6 El Capitan.
- Disconnect any USB hub connected to the computer.
- Make certain the interface is connected directly between guitar and computer.
- Insert a fully charged battery into Variax battery compartment.
- Insert a tip/ring/sleeve 1/4" headphone adapter into the 1/4" jack.
- Once the relay clicks and both LED's are green, then you are ready to go.

Sure thing soundog.
BTW, the LTC1871 IC chip is pretty good. Linear Technology puts out good chips.
I've used a number of them.
-
And course, remember and reminder,...
Line 6 does not support modifications to it's products.
If a product with this or any other mod that affects function was to come across my repair bench,
I would have to I would have to send it back untouched. Failed piezo would be one thing, damaged component
on a processor board plugged into this,... would be sent back. They pay me to only repair Line 6 product here.
Since we can't vouch for the abilities of others we don't know out there, his would be at your own risk.
Just so that everyone is aware and reminded.

DP100 and DP209, at 13.6k and 13.9k Ohm DCR spec, they will sound dark in tone.
Use pick-ups with a DCR of between 6k to 8k Ohms.
Line 6 Workbench HD free app is another option.

Keep your fingers out of the insides of that amp, it's a serious shock hazard.
-
Take it to a guitar shop to have the right ones fitted. Gotoh, Sperzel and Schaller make good locking tuners.
Be certain that there is a 15-degree downward breaking angle between the tuner post hole and the string nut.
And that the post diameter has minimal sideways breaking angle, as that can wear the nut slots too soon.

" It's like they are being modulated by waveform that isn't symmetric or sinusoidal. " --- That is possible.
Some real effects out there have that capability. It's possible that effect was modeled that way to reflect
the real effect it's modeled from. I have effects in my DAW like that, one can select what the modulator is,
and some are not symmetrical. I think there are a couple in the Spider V amp.

Shuriken uses Workbench HD.
No Monterey yet. Compatibility notices at top of the page.

For which Variax ?
-
Second hand from a retailer, and an early serial number. Side to side play,... would be something going on underneath.
It should go in for servicing. Maybe I should have a look at it, if it's what I think it is.
-
Could be a loose connector, could be something failing. It need a proper check out by
a Line 6 authorized technician , who knows the product.

Is there out-of-box solution to control the AxSys 212?

I've been here longer than them. ;-)
