I had the same Issue, try to do what i did.

 

1. Unplug your device

2. then unplug your usb from the pc

3. switch the usb port

4. plug the cable back into your device

Tried it .. no luck, also i changed the line 6 digital audio interface in advanced settings in recording section to 48000  Hz but no luck, did it work for you ? and what version of driver are u using , im using latest 4.2.7.1 , and usb firmware : 1.0.3

Try this if you're having trouble getting a mic working with the UX2:

 

Check the Line 6 Control Panel applet has input set to Mic 1 or whatever input you want to use.

 

In the Windows Control Panel Sound applet, under Recording, have the UX2 set to default device and default communication device.

 

Have the default recording format set to 16bit 48000Hz.

 

These are my settings and it's working with Skype, etc.

 

I can see the level meter moving on the Recording properties page.

 

Hi, my headphones are working fine, but my microphones are not.. i have a POD GX , in windows 8.1 the microphone was working fine in both skype/pod farm 2.. but i tried everything and the bar wont move at all and no program can actually work with it..

I can confirm that GX doesn't work,

I installed the latest drivers (Windows 10 is listed), but don't get any sound. Youtube crashes when I'm using POD Studio GX, works fine with another sound card.

 

EDIT: Change to 16bit, 48000 Hz and now it works.

Hey thanks for the hint !, that made my podstudio gx work again, but my microphone isnt working what so ever, if u changed it to the same settings in record section, it even messes up the whole sound driver and i wont be able to hear anything unless i restart,,, i hope there is a way to fix this !

Think I found a fix guys! (It work for me at least.)

 

Go to Devices and Printers and find the UX2 http://i.gyazo.com/daf41eb07835ad13acffab346d352b13.png

 

Right click UX2 and remove device

 

Then unplug and plug back in the UX2 and windows was able to recognize the device http://i.gyazo.com/727718db18c91ba5fcf53bb64fd907e8.png

Man thanks alot u saved me !, so how it worked :

1. troubleshooted and it showed that the GX wont work with usb 3.0 properly , so , removed from usb 3.0 and connected to 2.0, took 2 mins to install , now both my krk kns 8400 , and my microphone which is connected to GX that is also using podfarm 2 is working ! ,  thanks again man ! hope it works for all of us !

Update : My microphone is only working with podfarm 2 and i can hear a playback , but doesn't work with skype or team speak , or windows's voice recorder...
