I am using the latest firmware - 3.60 - and haven't tried this without having the HX Edit on. I guess that's my next step.

I spent an hour trying all the factory presets and when I reached Factory Presets 2 around 03B the sound disappeared. When I played the guitar the green didn't show up on the input icons and I had to restart the Helix to get the sound back. It kicked out again after toggling through a few more presets as though it couldn't take the processing anymore. I was running HX Edit and selected the presets from there. The only time I have this problem is when I go through a lot of presets. When I play and just use a couple I never lose the sound. Has anyone else experienced this and have you fixed it?

The editor is HX Edit. Native is a plugin to use with your DAW.

Having to log in every day is bad but worrying about my Helix bursting into flames is worse!

Plug in the guitar lead so the Pocket Pod is on before you connect the USB cable. Once you hear the USB connected tone, start the Line 6 Monkey program.

Did you remove the batteries?

Just make sure your belt is tight!

Mine is rigid - it doesn't move anywhere except for a miniscule side to side wiggle. 

Try plugging the guitar into the pocket pod first and then plugging the usb cable from the pocket pod into the computer. Detecting the pocket pod can be temperamental. Keep trying different USB ports until you actually hear the connect sound.

I found that connecting to a Windows 7 PC was a hit and miss experience but once I plugged in the guitar and then the usb cable it would connect and work well. So far, so good...

Problem solved. I didn't push the button enough on the Pocket Pod when it found USER BANK 01. Another push got me to my saved tones.

I have created several tones and stored them in the USER 1, 2 and 3 slots and as L6T files on my computer and I have stored the entire bank as an SQS file. I renamed those slots to Compressor, Compressor Echo and Crunchy respectively. I opened the SQS file and clicked to sync it with the Pod and everything seems to work fine as the tones were on the Pod where I stored them. I exited the editor and disconnected the USB cable and the tones remain on the POD and I can up and down arrow between them. Once I hit a left or right arrow, the tones disappear and it's back to USER 1, 2 and 3. I then tried loading the L6T files in the USER slots in the virtual editor and synced them manually with the Pod. Same result. Can someone point out what's wrong with my process that is keeping this simple save from working?
