  1. I'm just moving from a Vetta to Firehawk for live gigging.  How many of you go direct to the PA vs. the Firehawk/Amp approach?  I'm concerned that I may lose a little if I do not have some amp feedback interaction.  I have a stage monitor in front of me but not sure if that is the same.  Bonus is reduction in stage volume makes it easier to hear everybody.

    Any feedback or suggestions?

  2. I'm having a hard time to get this to sound good.  It kind of mashes everything together when I try to play over the loop.  Any suggestions.

  3. After speaking with support, the volume setting on the amp within the app does exactly that without changing the tone.  Firmware V1.1 is supposed to offer the ability to change preset volume with the volume knob on the Firehawk directly without having to edit the amp volume setting in the app.  Issue resolved.

  4. Talked to support today about some questions.  Was told that there is a new firmware update coming in a day or so.  He recommended to do the update via USB to PC.  He said it is much faster and more stable to do the update that way.

  5. Any suggestions on how to normalize the preset volume across presets.

One idea of mine is to use the compressor and add or reduce dB to get to the same volume.  I think that it can be turned on in the preset and can be done without assigning it to a footswitch position.

    Any other ideas?

  6. Great idea.  Do you put the boost on the Send or Return or does it matter?

BTW, just got the unit yesterday and have already dialed in some great tones so far.

  7. I just got my new Firehawk.  Moving from a Vetta and am tired of hauling it to gigs.  One of the things I really liked about the Vetta was the boost function.  I could hit one switch and get up to a 12db boost.  Anything comparable to that with the Firehawk.
