  1. The FX Loop is probably on the back - post a picture of the rear of the amp.

Otherwise, you can go right into the front, and set the HD to "Combo" in the output section of system properties.

    I'm connecting with this form:

Cabling: Guitar in - My guitar

    Cabling: R/Mono(connected)  1/4 OUT    L/Mono - Input do Amplifier

    Setup HD 500:

    Menu:  3/9 (Outputs)

Guitar + Variax Ch1 - this is the combo?

  2. Try This: 4 Cable Method

    Cabling

Cable 1:  Guitar Out --> HD Guitar In

Cable 2:   HD500 FX Send --> Amp Input

Cable 3:  Amp FX Send --> HD500 FX Return (Left)

Cable 4:   HD500 1/4" Out (Left) --> Amp FX Return

    Amp Settings

Master volume(if you have one)  = Low (for now, while you are setting up.)

Amp Loop Switch  = -10dB (Instrument level)

    Amp Loop Turned on !

If the amp loop has a 'mix' control, make sure this is set to 100%

    HD500 Settings

Guitar Input Pad = Normal (unless you hear clipping from your guitar due to very powerful pickups)

Master Volume = 100% (See the note about master volumes below)

    1/4" Out Switch = 'Amp'

    Loop Level Switch = 'Stomp'

System Output = 'Stack Power Amp' (within system settings)

  3. Hello,

I'm a new user of Hd 500.. how is the method to plug the hd 500 cabling in amplifier?

We have some options in right side of hd 500, like LINE or AMP - GUITAR or PAD.

    What the diference?

    Help me!!

    Tks alL!

  4. Post your other questions in a new thread here. That way you will get the benefit of many users' ideas and opinions.

    Ok!

I'll play this weekend in a stage, but i can't found a distortion like deftones.

In really, i dont get create any distortion :/

Do you have some tip, some guidance?!

  5. When the tuner is engaged the display screen will show the current calibration in Hz/Frequency. Turn the little black knob (I think it is knob#1)to change it.

Right, i'll try! Thank u, dude, very much!

Can i remedy some questions in a chat w/ u? I wanna know a little more about HD500. It's possible?

  6. Check that the tuner is set to A=440. Also check that your reference is correct (whatever it is that makes you say the HD 'sounds like D').

    Ok dude!

I'm a recent user of HD 500, do you know where i found the menu to setup "A=440" ?

  7. The tuner has a calibration knob (A=440, etc.....) but it is a chromatic tuner. If you want Db, tune down from D until the display shows Db.

but when i tune Db, the displays show me correctly Db, OK is perfect.

But sounds like, D. The displays doesnt are ok. I think this would be regulated, or no?

  8. Hello,

Someone can help me with hd 500 tuner?!

I think it is unregulated, cause if i put Db, hers sounds like D.

Someone know how regulated the tuner??

    thank u all!!!
