  1. I usually save to "My Tones" first then send it to the FH. That doesn't seem to generate multiple entries on mine as you're overwriting the entry (ie not the same as "Save As.." which generates a new file). You can always delete the previous versions and/or slightly differentiate the name of the new tone when you save it so you know which is which. I know it's not ideal, but it works for me.
  2. I don't think so. But it would be a great idea for a future firmware. Maybe post it on Ideascale? Perhaps put it in tuner mode and press the master volume knob to access alternative reference pitches by turning the dial. There are a few songs that I do that have different reference pitches.
  3. I agree. I would like to have the bottom row (A to D switches) change to play, stop, record, clear when you switch the looper on. After all, would many people change presets when looping? Just an idea.
  4. Yep. Not a problem. Plug your cable into FX SEND on the back of the Firehawk to the input of your pedal. Then your pedal's output goes to FX SEND. Make sure the little switch is set to STOMP (ie the little switch is out). You can then use the app to drag the FX LOOP block around to where you want your pedal to be in your signal chain.
  5. Neat. Thanks cush4x. But ti goes to show that we need a PC editor for this!
  6. The list of presets is a pdf download on the manuals page. Where the presets relate to a song, it is clear what they are, eg Everlong, Sweet Child etc
  7. Hurray for tap tempo input. Yes, need PC editor via BT or USB. Or both.
  8. Great advice. I'm going to give that a try!
  9. Also, if the hum is when you use XLR, have you tried the ground lift button?
  10. angelectrico, in response to your last post: 1. Yes, line mode has a higher output level. The amp level output is much lower. Obviously use amp mode for driving an amp and line level for any thing with line in socket. 2. It's normal. If you have an amp output then why do you need headphones? It's more a rhetorical question than one requiring an answer. If you are running to an amp then what you hear in the headphones will be different to what you get out of the amp as there is the amp's pre-amp, tone stage, power amp and cabinet/speaker to colour the sound. Perhaps plug the headphones into your amp's headphone socket. However, if using XLR output then according to the manual you should get the same sound through the phones as you get through the XLR. As to your original post, it sounds like a grounding issue. When you touch the guitar, strings, you effectively act as the ground conduit. It suggests a grounding problem with your guitar or cable. Ah, you've said it doesn't happen using line level output. What is your set-up? What sockets are you using? ie XLR? 1/4" mono, 1/4" stereo?
  11. Thanks for the tips and the vid
  12. Hi, new Firehawk owner here. I'm not familiar with the equaliser. Can someone please tell me how to use the shelf and db sliders? Thanks in advance.
  13. Hi, check the connection advice in the manual. I think you either need to be connected via XLR or to be connected via both 1/4" connectors at line level for Bluetooth audio to pass through to your speakers/amp.
  14. Are your tones not stored with your Line 6 account? Do you need to sign back in?
  15. I love my Amplifi 150. Plenty of volume and both guitar and music sound good through it. I've just got an FBV Shortboard so that I can switch effects on and off in a preset. I use mine with a Shure PG14 wireless set up and it's fantastic.

    USB port

Very cryptic. Why not just give us a hint?
  17. You can drag and drop them into a different order using the ios app. Make sure you've got the latest firmware update then go to the screen that shows all 100 slots. Then drag and drop to your heart's content. Just remember to back up or move a tone as dropping a tone on another overwrites it.
