Just got myself a used Pod XT, never used one before, but I wanted a plug and play unit to go direct into my Tascam 8 track. I plugged it into my 8 track yesterdsay, tinkered around a bit with headphones and realised there is hum like an amp, it does seem to get better when I touch the strings. Do these Pods hum like an amp?, if I press the gate button it gets really loud when the gate is off. Is this normal?.I haven't reflashed just updated software..
