I had the same dead battery issue. Once I replaced it everything went back to normal and was communicating with Line 6 Edit. Also, I have the V2.50 software uploaded as a .SYX file so you can no longer worry about using Monkey to get the software into your amp. Hi Simmonske, I have a VETTA 2 HEAD and the battery died and I am in need of the .SYX files for the firmware update to V2.50. This version ran flawlessly and now I need to get my amp back. If you could help me out I would greatly appreciate your help with any and all information you might have. Eric
