Quote from DI @ the gear page

At this time, no dealer is aware of any shipping date. I get asked this question at least once a day (from sales, marketing, customer service, etc.), and maybe they're passing along their best guesses to dealers, distributors, artists, whomever... but the Helix team's answer hasn't changed. So unless you hear it from me (or Ben or Dale), every date you read is pure conjecture.
If something happens and the date slips, I'll let everyone know, but right now, we're on schedule.

My Sweetwater rep gave specific date of August 20th. But that is always subject to change.

Consider voting for the "global signal path" request on IdeaScale. This would allow you to set up returns once and have that routing apply to all of your tones.
Consider it done. Brilliant sir! ☺

There's no dedicated 1/8" MP3/CD in on the Helix. So you'd have to run it into a pair of the 1/4" returns and set those up as an input on one of the signal paths.
So every tone of wanna play along or try and get a part down I'm gonna have to add an input into a signal path. $1500 for a product 5 years of development. Something as simple as this is left out.
-
Yes, but the Aux in isn't stereo; you'll want to use two returns
I wanna do like I could do with the X3 live, obviously the firehawk could do this through Bluetooth. So I understand you, this is possible???

When you do a firmware update on the firehawk, it will wipe the presets on the pedal to factory(so any custom patches you have saved to your Firehawk will be gone). When you update the IOS or android app, all your tones are still saved. So just make sure you copy any of the tones you have on the Firehawk to your bluetooth device, then perform the firmware update.
Not trying to contradict what your saying. Bit that was not my experience. Any customer tones I had remained in my unit post update. That being said I used the PC method, and can't speak for the bluetooth update. Still would back up anything you wouldn't want lost.

Just checked the app - it is in bpm. Tap the pencil, then you will be able enter the speed.
Is that on an Apple product, or Android?

Hey, what do you all know about the system menus which are accessable at startup- I know the big knob and tap does a system restore, and the A and C gets you into a system menu- have any of you monkeyed around in there? are there other hidden menus accessable at startup?
Yeah I got into the A&C menus last night. It scared me so I left crying . Lol

Is there any way to manually punch in the numbers for a tempo using the keyboard on the firehawk app? I set up patches for individual songs a lot and it's a pain to try and use the tap tempo to hit an exact tempo for every patch that I make. But it won't let me select the tempo value to just type the numbers in. Am I missing something? I would really appreciate a feature of just being able to touch the tempo number and type in a new tempo.
If it's an IPhone no, Android will alow tap tempo and manual entery. Not sure why that limitation on iPhone???
-
Exactly. Does it seem to you that when changing from a clean tone to a distortion, it sort of fades in? It doesn't punch in like you'd expect, but rather it crossfades.
I would say it's more of a sound in a blender warping type sound. It's very much not musical.
-
Update doesn't seem to have addressed the audible noise I get when switching from a distortion tone to a clean tone. If I play and hold a chord/note on the distortion preset and switch to the clean, it sounds as if a new note is being played instead of a smooth transition where only the decay of the previous note is heard.
It sounds fine if I toggle my distortion effect on/off within a preset...kinda limits diversity though. I have to press two buttons at the same time to go from distortion to clean w/chorus.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Yes the audible noise is still there, Not as bad but still there. I think it was a bit of a stretch for them to say it has been eliminated.

A 20 second countdown on the display would be great for the looper. I'm loving the new features!

Firehawk FX 1.1 update's coming this afternoon; the new app's already in iTunes. In the meantime, here's the updated manual.
tl;dr:
- New Live Edit mode—adjust nearly all amp, cab, and effects parameters without a mobile device (or even taking your hands off the guitar)
- New one-button looper (20 seconds)
- New channel volume from stepped encoder
- Improved Bluetooth performance
- Removed artifacts when switching patches; we're still working on making it faster
- Volume pedal now behaves properly when switching patches
Definitely a step in the right direction, I still have a notice artifact on certain tones. Nothing like b4, but still present.

Yeah I'll just hold out for 11 if the issue persists then I'll pursue that Avenue. Was mostly curious if anyone else had this problem.
-
Bluetooth not connected with this issue.
-
Is anyone else having an issue with the tuner freezing up. Requires getting out of the tunner and going back in. It is getting to the point where is about freezes on every string. Had mine for over a month, this is a new issue. A reboot cycle tends to help, but only for a while.
-
I've been having the same load error 21 issue.
-
The Channel Volume is like a Master for just the amp, and it is stored with the patch. It adjusts the output level without affecting the tone (like the “Gain†control on the amps would). This is the control you use to level your presets relative to each other. The slightly quirky thing here is that it does live in the amp processing slot, so it happens in the signal chain before the post effects. In v1.1 firmware and later, pressing the big knob until the LEDs are pink acts as a short cut to accessing this control without the app.

Having issues with tones created on my android tablet. Coming over to my phone. I saved to my tones on tablet, the only way I could see them on my phone was to sine out of my line 6 account and sign back in.
-
You can do that by opening a support ticket (see Support tab above).
OK will definitely do that, thanks!
-
Ah I see, that's weird, your actually missing the first four and a half stars as the first star begins right after the song title
Exactly I re-worded the initial question and added the screen shot. Maybe someone within line 6 will forward this issue to development.
