    I apologize. How I worded that didn't make much sense. Basically the phantom power box I have with the device is plugged into a powerstrip and not the wall. Don't know if I can bump this thread. Issue still hasn't been fixed.

    Hmm. That sounds like a reasonable solution but sadly there isn't anything wireless connected to the PC or around it. Seems to be more like a unit problem with the UX1. Maybe because it's plugged into a power strip instead of the wall? Haven't tried that one yet. But anyway thanks for the help! :)

    Hello, I wanted to bring attention to my current issue with my UX1. Basically when I load in the audio from my microphone, there's a loud static noise made with it. I made a video to hear it: If anyone knows how to help it would be much appreciated, thank you.

    Weird to see this getting some attention! It is a condenser microphone that is ran through a Phantom Power box before making it to the UX1. When I said hots, I meant the dial for input sound levels on the box. I'll try the USB method, but as of now it's still a bit wonky.

    Hey everyone, If you were wondering I did already post this document in another section of the forum but it was incorrect. So my issue is that my UX1 with PodFarm 2.5 creates a constant static noise in the background. Even if no microphone is connected the static is still made. The only way to get good audio quality is for me to activate Noise Gates that make the quality of the audio horrible! I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out what is going on with my device. I'm also willing to accept any PodFarm vocal presets you recommend. Questions you might have: My UX1 is my full audio device. I have a fx-4850 Processor w/ 16 gig ram All my drivers are up to date. I'm on Windows 10. I also left in a .wav of the noise it makes. It was recorded with no microphone plugged in, and the hots on the box are set high enough for an Audio Technica AT20-20 to pickup vocals so they aren't too high. Thanks! Bad Noise.wav

    Hey everyone! Need some other people's point of views on the situation in hopes it can be fixed. :P I have a UX1 w/ Podfarm 2.5. I usually use it for voice recordings, no instruments. I've spent a long time editing settings, still unable to get perfect sound for my microphone. I use a lot of noise gates because for some reason there is a lot of background noise I presumed were fans from microphone pickup. I always thought this was weird since this room is practically sound proof, and I can barely hear the fans, but I always shrugged it off. Well today when I was testing microphones I made a discovery. I was in the middle of switching them out when I noticed after I unplugged one, there was still the same fan noise with nothing plugged in... For some reason, there is this constant noise being created in the device. It gets louder when I adjust the input of the device, which is horrible since I need it at the "bad" level for my microphone to pickup anything. I've been doomed to bad audio since I have to turn on multiple noise gates to somewhat block the strange noise, but of course it degrades microphone quality. The background noise is constant with something plugged in or not. I use the device as my entire sound card as well, for input and output. So my question is, can anyone help me? I'm down for any advice you may have, or maybe you guys have presets for your pod farm you think might help that I should try. I hope I haven't been sold a faulty UX1. I'm using an AT20-20 microphone XLR'd to a PHP1 Phantom Power Supply, that is then XLR'd to the UX1 that is then USB'd to the PC. Spec ----------------------------------------------------------------- CPU: FX-4850 4.0 GHz 8 core processor RAM: 16 gig OS: Windows 10 64-Bit I've also left in an audio clip of what the constant noise sounds like, thanks again!

    So I just discovered that plugging in my workaround method got it to work like normal suddenly! But then when I tried to listen back to it, it only played in my right ear even though it was setup for both Left and Right. Then audio played through the LINE 6 UX1 audio box output and the mic exploded into constant loud feedback and wouldn't stop. I don't even know at this point.

    Speakers aren't connected to the UX. Don't know if that's good or bad, but I never had it in before when it worked. I also understand the ASIO thing but I usually just have the device selected in the DAW and it works 0_o. The UX is also the main selected device. Now here's something that might peak your interest, back when the Windows 10 drivers weren't working, I made a work around of a 3.5mm jack wire out of the Output section of the UX and plugged into the LINE IN port on my PC, the mic then works when POD Farm is open. But when the update came out I no longer had to use that crappy work around which really isn't ideal. My fault though I didn't mention the fact that an output is created of POD Farm in the UX1 output section. Hope it helps :/. I do appreciate all the help you've given me though!

    Yeah the issue is that Windows is creating an output. Let me just say that everything did work before I had to reset my PC. Which now has some sort of driver issues or something as my guess.

    Wow, I can't believe I forgot to do this. POD Farm now seems to be getting a solid feed in and as it says, out of the program. But now in the Recording tab of Windows Sound settings, the UX1 Mixer has no audio coming out of it. So one down, one more to go. Thank you for your help though! Happen to have any idea on this? :P Thanks again!

    I'll make this fast, I'm using a Line 6 UX1. Running Windows 10 64-Bit latest full release version. Using a CAD GXL2200 with a phantom power box. (All working btw). My UX1 is lit green, and I have the windows 10 driver installed, 4.2.7.6. Latest version of PodFarm 2.59 and everything. Here's my issue, every time I launch up PodFarm I have no Mic input going in. (Now as an FYI, I recently had to fresh reset my PC, before hand the mic was working just fine) I've tried everything from re-installing the driver, or re-installing everything Line 6. I've even disabled all other audio drivers/devices. Now here's some info that might help, when I do unplug a microphone, for a second there is a a little green line on input, meaning that some sort of feed goes in. If you have ANY advice, I'll be happy to take it. Also before you ask, I have a very high end PC (16 GB Ram, FX-4850 CPU, GTX 970), and yes everything physical including the box and phantom power box are running fine. Thank you! :D UPDATE: So I discovered that if at any point the UX1 Speakers receive any input of audio from the computer, the mic input will continuously create a loud static noise until I unplug and plug it back in...

    I know that wasn't in response to me, but I just tried it. Removes my UX1 (I know it's different to what you said) then replugged in new port. It installed, still doesn't work. Thanks for the open advice though :P. I'm guessing it's just a driver bug that'll be fixed hopefully soon. Like I stated earlier, when I first installed the driver update for win 10 support, it worked fine.

    Yeah I tried this before, as well as a moment ago. I have the settings for the device to 16 bit 48000 DVD Quality. Also plugged into a USB 2.0 port. No difference still no audio through to my PC. I see that PodFarm picks up sound, but in the audio control panel, no movement on the audio levels for the device...:/ Thanks for the help though!

    I've been having the same issue with the UX1 :/. Yesterday I got the latest driver and it worked perfectly! The next day I boot up, doesn't work again...

    I've found a way to fix it by connecting through the Microphone Jack. But I would like to point out that the MIDI Control Panel does show that there is no ASIO driver. Thanks for the help though!

    Hello, sorry if this is a sorta double post. But I thought that I might try here for help as well. I purchased a UX1 and got PodFarm 2.5 with it. I have the UX1 set as default in Playback and Recording. I can hear playback of the microphone whilst monitoring. But here's the issue, when I go to record things, I either get an error, or no Audio out. Using skype, setting the interface as the microphone creates no audio. Audacity on launch gives me a "no audio devices" error. Adobe Audition has an MME error. And OBS, when trying to record/preview/stream, forcefully turns off the mic option telling me that it is unplugged, or not working well. Let me reassure you that it is plugged in, up to date on drivers, and windows says it's running perfectly. Please if you could help me, that would be great! I just want to know where my audio is going, and how I can fix this :P Specs: CPU: fx-8350 OS: Windows 10 RAM: 16 gigs

    My Audio Control Panel has the Line6 device already set to Default under Playback and Recording. I've been using it like a sound-card, but also want to use it for recording. But like I said, PodFarm isn't creating an output to my PC. So if I go in a Recording Program and set the device to the Lin6, no Audio will record.

    So I recently purchased a Pod Studio UX 1 that also comes with PodFarm. I load up into PodFarm, find my MIC, set the bit-rates, etc. But here's my issue. I go into the audio control panel, and when I talk, I see that under Recording the UX1 interface doesn't show any movement of Audio. Yet in PodFarm 2.5 I see the audio in Input and Output move up and down. Where is it going? I have plugged my headphones into the PHONES jack on the front just like it says. I'm able to hear all of my PC's sounds, along with myself when talking into PodFarm with the effects. (Really wish I couldn't re-hear myself) When I do load into recording programs, the closest one I can get working is Adobe Audition, which makes me use ASIO. But as you know, the ASIO method is the worst when you're trying to use this with things like OBS and Skype. (Because then they won't take any MIC audio) So, if you could PLEASE HELP me, I wanna know where my audio is going. It seemed that I should just be able to plug my MIC into the UX1 and PodFarm should make an output through the Audio Interface in my Audio Control Panel. Am I missing something? Thanks for the help! BTW: All drivers are up to date. System Specs: OS: Windows 10 CPU: fx-8350 RAM: 16 gigs MIC: Cad GXL 2200 w/ Phantom Power Box
