Tape Delay - 2.90 Firmware Helix LT.
Tempo sync is not correct.
Not even close.
On any subdivision.

Ohwell. I'll make do... i just thought for sure that it was doing 1/4 at one point...
-
Hmm, that weird i seem to remember it working before...
there are a couple other that did the same thing, i suppose thats just a feature too?
ohwell.
time for a timeline I guess.
why can it do the slower dot/trip ones in between? its 1/8 is the limit?
just curious..
also wish the delays all had a way to force into repeat, like a strymon where you can hold the bypass down and it will go forever.

Latest firmware? I haven't seen this. Which models may I ask?
I just updated to 2.82 it seems to be elephant man for sure, its 1/8 note for 1/1 1/2/ 1/4 1/8 and then it starts working correctly as you get smaller. Then you hit the dot/trip in between its the same one for each until you pass the 1/8th setting as well.. very weird.
i'll make a video of it today when i get a chance.

Tempo Sync Delays are broken on multiple delay models. 1/1 1/2 1/4 etc are ALL always 8th notes.

I have 2 physical machines. 1 desktop, and 1 laptop.
Helix Native is on both (2/5)
However, I just installed 1.82 and authorized, and now it's 3/5 (well it was i hit the deauth button on the old laptop one)..
And there is a lifetime limit of 11..
So does this mean if I keep having to re-authorize updates I will eventually hit the 11 limit and not be able to authorize a new version?

Just got one of these today and had the same issue. I've maybe played it 20 min but I started playing around with the deeper settings on the powercab and found that mine was set to a -32db setting on most speaker settings (including the full-range). This increased the output significantly! Not sure if this is a common global setting (mine was purchased scratch/dent so maybe someone had messed with the settings).
I'm using an old-school HD500x but I was able to get VERY loud and, while I did have to turn the master volume past the 50% that I usually run it at, 75% was VERY loud.
When I get a bit more into the unit I'll post my findings.

I wonder, it the none plus version is set to these low levels. because i have to pin all the knobs and get the input to almost red all the time to even be heard.. and when i play on my own its not very loud.
for a 250 watt amplifier, it sure is quiet...

add a Midi CC Pedal to your stomp and put it on a small board. Problem solved.

Im playing thought headphones (he is also playing thought headphones and recording through USB),. I have the volume knob at max cause I control the preset volume from the ch volume on the amp. So its just Guitar - > Helix -> headphones...let me know if Im missing some information. Thanks.
Uh, you do realize that that Channel Volume on the amp model is part of the amps gain stage right?

Sounds like he is using a Mac. Which means in Ableton/Logic you can define different hardware devices for Input and Output you are not limited to one ASIO driver like in Windows.
I always get some latency when I do that. Its better to just use one device (ie the Helix in this case)
Unless your ableton set is also playing back tracks on other outputs of the RME to a different source (like the PA or something?)
