  1. Eureka, i've found the solution. Inisde the snapshot, select the variax model on the variax menu, right click on the variax model and select snapshot. It is different from the standard assignment procedure for the other parameters.

  2. I use a Variax Standard  plugged in a Helix LT.

I can't manage to change guitar model using the snapshots within the same preset. Apparently the guitar mode cannot be associated to a snapshot.

Does someone know something about this issue?

  4. Hi all,

i need to play with a different pitch (to play in G instead of A) maintaining exactly the same sound and without changing the original finger positions.

I think that a pitch shifter could be used for this purposes. Can you suggest what pedal could be selected and how it should be configured to obtain a pure pitch shift?

  5. In the manual I can find that these outputs are for unbalanced signals to an amplifier or to a PA. I'm wondering if I can use these outputs to connect in a balanced mode to a mixer (in order to cancel   the noise), using balanced jack cables.

    Many thanks

  6. Exploring more the PC interface I've seen that the mixer node (where the secondary path reconnect to the main stream) has a pan functionality. Apparently it seems possible to have a complete separation also using a single path with a proper configuration of this mixer node. Am i wrong?

  7. I think to have understood. To get a complete separation of the channels i need to maintain  two separate paths with same input e different outputs, and then to work on the pan configuration that can be modified directly opening the outputs themselves.

  8. Hi all,

i was wondering how the Stereo path works. Suppose, as in the attached figure, to have a path that has been splitted in two subpaths with different ampli+cabs, that then go to a stereo effect (reverb, or delay,, or something similar). Are the sound of the amps sent one to the right channel and the other to the left? Suppose I use a Fender and a Marshall. Can i expect to have the Fender on the right and the Marshall on the left?

  9. Hi all,

someone can help me in understanding the correct way to use Helix with a real amp.

For sure, using a PA, amps and cab sims have to be active.

Using the front of a real amp, do i have to disable both amp and cab?

Using the return of areal amp, do i have to disable both amp and cab and activate the relative preamp?

    Many thanks
