A regular XLR cable would be 75 Ohms. You need an 110 Ohm cable because you're transferring digital data. L6 Link cable is 110 Ohms. Using it with the helix you can store speaker modes. The cable will NOT affect guitar vs. monitor sound that you get but, it will make setup easier. Cheers

Thank You so much Line 6 ! Thank You Digital Igloo for your abundance of patience !

What Peter said is correct. It's worth the time to learn how to use parametric eqs. https://www.presonus.com/learn/technical-articles/What-Is-a-Parametric-Eq

And could be read/stored by both HX Edit and Helix

I am going through the same thing I have the Standard. There seems to be an exaggerated top end with the VDI.

What would you consider a large venue? Stage or Room size.

Great approach! I didn't look at at it that way. Thanks for sharing

Can't you already do this with the Helix?
-
I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps if you're not going use the hardware Helix as an interface then maybe something like the Motu Zbox would help on the impedance side of things. Assuming your are happy with your A/D D/A converters.

I got mine with 2.01 loaded and some things didn't work right until I did a Global Reset. That may help.

I have Never experienced latency with this unit (pod HD500) using the unit alone. But I have experienced it when recording which is a different animal.

I just played a large stage/show And after a great soundcheck … showtime No monitors …. at all. Sound man asleep at the wheel .. hey it's part of the gig!

From what I've read, most poeple have had trouble updating while connected to multiple items. Did you try this with POD + computer only?
