  1. I too have had this same problem and I think it's a software issue. I think something went wrong with HX Edit What I did was 1. rebuild the patches 2. Reset Globals This was done AFTER the 3.61 update To Native and Edit. So far, so good.
  2. Did You update HX Edit?
  3. Try rebuilding the patch from scratch.
  4. Choose Amp+Cab. Only uses 1 block or. Choose Amp > Cab separately. You can still use foot switches or snapshots to alter settings.
  5. Stop forcing the rebuild. It only needs to rebuild once.
  6. A regular XLR cable would be 75 Ohms. You need an 110 Ohm cable because you're transferring digital data. L6 Link cable is 110 Ohms. Using it with the helix you can store speaker modes. The cable will NOT affect guitar vs. monitor sound that you get but, it will make setup easier. Cheers
  7. Thank You so much Line 6 ! Thank You Digital Igloo for your abundance of patience !
  8. What Peter said is correct. It's worth the time to learn how to use parametric eqs. https://www.presonus.com/learn/technical-articles/What-Is-a-Parametric-Eq
  9. And could be read/stored by both HX Edit and Helix
  10. I am going through the same thing I have the Standard. There seems to be an exaggerated top end with the VDI.
  11. What would you consider a large venue? Stage or Room size.
  12. Great approach! I didn't look at at it that way. Thanks for sharing
  13. Volume/Pan > Stereo Width (Stereo), Line 6 Original utility to collapse stereo paths
  14. Can't you already do this with the Helix?
  15. I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps if you're not going use the hardware Helix as an interface then maybe something like the Motu Zbox would help on the impedance side of things. Assuming your are happy with your A/D D/A converters.
