    That's crazy!

Assuming that you're on the latest FW (2.92) I'm going to suggest a factory reset, only because the support tech will probably suggest it.

If that doesn't work, call support or open a ticket. Include the video link.

    VERY strange!

    Hi Alex,

When I watched the video, I though it was the weirdest thing.

Then something occurred to me. With Helix you can map any parameter to any controller. For example, you could have the foot pedal change the feedback rate of a delay. You can do this quite easily by pushing the “Learn” button while sweeping the expression pedal from heel to toe.

Check that you haven’t inadvertently pushed the “Learn” button while you were doing something else?

Try a Factory Reset by restarting your LT while holding down FS 5&12 which will clear all setlists, clear IRs and return to System defaults - you did make a backup of all your stuff, didn’t you?

    Hope this helps/makes sense.

Thanks for the advice guys, ill try it and see what happens.

Otherwise, the learn function was the first thing that i thought it could be but you cant learn a parameter on the volume knob, tried several times and nothing happens.

  2. Hi guys, well ive got some troubles with my Helix Lt recently, i found that the big Volume Knob its controlling the position value of the pedal blocks (Volume blocks and Wah blocks) and then when i move the pedal up and down it doesnt work.

No matter what i do, i tried deleting the blocks and add them again and it still not working. I suspect if is the famous issue with the breaking Helix Lt pedal?

    What can it be?

Here is a video where is shown what happens exactly:

Yes, confirmed here on my Floor unit. Seems to probably be related to the lagging output and compression meters, because the tuner gets laggy on my unit the same way the meters do. Have you reported it via a ticket to Line 6? If not, one of us needs to to make sure it's on their bug list so it gets fixed.

I opened a ticket last week, if more people that is having the same issue tells them better. Lets see what happen.

I updated to 2.91 seemingly without issue. The meters started acting erratically but I didn't see the pattern. I rebooted, they worked fine.

But after a while of playing and editing on a patch, the output meters were  a couple seconds behind synch with the sound. If I don't play for a few seconds, the meters will die to nothing. If I hit a chord, they don't move until a few seconds later. I can't say whether the lag is constant, but it's at least a couple seconds. The compression meters on the LA comp were acting similarly with a big lag.

Changing presets doesn't change the problem.

On further investigation, meters on the output of Path 1 are fworking fine. It's only the meters on the output at the end of the 2nd path that were delayed. The compressor was in the B path.

I deleted most of the blocks in the 2nd path, including the delay and compressor. The output block on 2 still showed delayed, the output on 1 was still fine.

I added a compressor into Path 1. It's meters registered fine.  The meters on the output of path 2 were still lagging real time.

I rebooted the unit.  No output meters would register at all. But the meters on the compressor on path 2 were working correctly without lag.

I changed from snapshot view to signal routing view. The meters suddenly displayed, but were lagging. The meters on the compressor on path 2 were now also lagging.

I rebooted. The meters on path 2 were lagging by only about 1/2 second, as were the compressor meters. But the meters on the output of Path 1 were fine.

If there is a specific test you want me to do, let me know.

Practically the same that happened to me.

  5. Updated to 2.91 my Helix Lt but i still have lag issues with the meters, it seems to be a problem with the dynamics blocks, specially compressors.

When i load a preset all works good, but if turn the knobs and place it in a dynamics block all starts going slowly,  now when i play the meters needs much more time than before, like 8 seconds sometimes, and the if i activate the tuner it happens the same here. I dont know what to do.

What unit? What input are you using?

Reason I ask is that I have had NO problems with the tuner in any of the 2.9 betas (and of course not the final release either).

Love to help if I can.

I have the Helix LT, i tried ussing multi  and guitar input.

Tuner is broken. Ever since I updated I'm having the same crazy delay of note recognition on the tuner. What I've noticed is that if I leave the tuner open for 10-20 seconds it goes back to normal and is usable (thank god). Still very annoying though.

I never had issues with the tuner until now, but it looks like a problem with the implementation of the meters because both of the have the same issue, it takes like 3 secons to show the signal that the helix recives.

Here i uploaded some videos where you can see what happens:

Wow, it looks really bad. If I were you, I'd contact Line 6 as soon as possible.

Yep, i will do that, were i supposed to do it?

PD. Thank for the attention bro.

The slowness you describe is not happening on my Helix. Might want to try reloading the 2.9 firmware.

What procedure should i do? I tried reseting to factory with footswitches 7+8 but it still happens.

  10. Hi guys, i have Helix LT, when i use an empty preset all works fine and smooth, but when i use an existing preset all works slowly and with a lot of retard using the tuner, the meters, traveling into the menus... I dont know if its a bug or something, but i dont know how to fix that because its so hard to work like that. Using the tuner is crazy, it needs like 2 or 3 seconds to show the note that you played (applicable to the meters too)

I got a click ( slight crackle) when switching presets. Firmware 2.80. It appeared on both Helix LT and Helix Stomp. On the previous firmware was not such. How to fix?

I have the same gap but i dont have the trails on, on the 2.70 i didnt have that issue, maybe another bug? Idk but its very uncomfortable. Please fix this!

Following 2.8 upgrade, the mode switch (button 6) turns off snapshot 1 LED (Button 2)

    Anyone else noticed this?

I have the same bug, when i enter to stomp mode its off until i press it again, and when i come back to preset mode happens the same, off until i press the switch again
