I've been using helix for some time now and it's very addictive. I record directly into Ableton via USB for recording my own stuff. I'm pretty ok at making tones and I think I've managed to get what I can out of it.
But I've never tried using an actual separate distortion or fuzz pedal with the in and out sends . Has anyone here had any experience with that? What I'm asking is, does anyone think that the quality of an actual distortion/fuzz pedal sounds way better than the ones provided by the helix?
