I'm seeing the same issue. It takes repeated reboots before the usb powers up the unit.

Just use some contact cleaner and shoot it lightly down into the switch itself and work it for a bit. Did that to my F1 switch and no problems since

So, I don't have to remove the chrome top, the cleaner is able to reach the contact points? I've got a few cans of DeoxIT kicking around the studio.

I've got an intermittent "C" switch

Is it possible to remove the chrome foot switch cover ( there is an allen screw) and clean the switch or is it a one piece switch which must be accessed by removing the bottom plate?
