if you're using full amp models try turning the master volume down

i did basically the same thing, my amp's still alive. call line6, they should tell you if the amp qualifies. gc guys are, not to offend anybody, punks. that dude can't know what the problem is if he doesn't even look at it. even so, if they are authorized to do the 59 fix, it don;t lollipoping matter if that;s the problem or not. bunch of lazy bums at gc

there's a ribbon connector that plugs into the board, i think. you might check that

the download page has recently changed, under where it says recent update, there used to be a spot that showed the last update for the hd. in it's place is $150 of for the x-vd75. that makes me think the hd update can't be far away. hope so

BTW you don't really need a spectrum analyzer to signal trace the amp but a common oscilloscope would sure go a long way towards troubleshooting both the digital and analog stuff that's what i meant. i don't know why i said specrum analyzer
