check the input...

TheRealZap's post in How Do I Type The Name When Saving A Present was marked as the answer
I don't believe that you can change anything on that model. I believe that it would require the 75 watt model or greater to make those kinds of changes as well as other types of changes.

TheRealZap's post in Simple Question: Logic X Pro was marked as the answer
you generally can't use multiple interfaces (by design) i use my pod 2 ways....
i have a tascam us1800 interface, and from the pod i have analog inputs to the tascam and i also have the spdif input.
i have the spdif input sending dry/unprocessed track for reference...
i add 2 tracks one for each input....
much easier doing it this way because then i can keep everything on one interface... and have no issues using edit or whatever if i wanted to.
if you absolutely must try to get multiple interfaces googles "aggregate devices" for your mac and it may be possible...
keep in mind that you lose some sound quality and performance barriers...
essentially using a single device allows the inputs and outputs to be timed correctly, and mutliple devices can sometimes bring poor results.

TheRealZap's post in Need Help Setting Up X3 With New Comp/ Win 8 was marked as the answer
1/2, etc are audio streams that come across over usb. specifically 1/2 is a stereo stream, although you can split them up and record 1 mono and 2 mono to separate tracks if you wanted to.
don't forget that the x3 comes with pod farm 1 plugin for free!
for this reason i always recorded 7/8 because then i could change amps and effects without reperforming the track... sometimes it helps when mixing time comes.
pretty much any modern interface will allow you to use it for windows/media sounds as well as your recordings... so you'll be fine either way.

TheRealZap's post in Does Line 6 "really" Pay Attention To This Forum? was marked as the answer
how is a vote going to answer this?
it's not... I will....
Line6 support does not actively monitor the forum, unless the experts bring something to their attention.
SOME... Line6 product managers are active on the forum (primarily dboomer, in the wiireless and PA system forum areas)

TheRealZap's post in How Do I Connect Pod Hd300 To An Amp? was marked as the answer
just go out of the hd300.... into the effects return of your AMP...
if you don't hear a sound... plug a cable into the guitar input on your amp (or a dummy plug... won't matter what because the pre-amp/input will be bypassed)
that's it.... other than plugging in your guitar to the 300.... no return etc from the effects loop

TheRealZap's post in Hd500 Help was marked as the answer
they ALWAYS have something.... even a blank preset is something... you can't actually delete them... you can just copy over something different.

TheRealZap's post in X3 Live To Hd500 was marked as the answer
yes 100% especially if you had not started creating any you wanted to keep... i like to do this everytime as a clean slate... and just restore my bundle after the fact.

TheRealZap's post in Is Combining Sounds Possible In Workbench? was marked as the answer
not possible.
-
TheRealZap's post in Hd500x And Toneport Ux8 was marked as the answer
should work, I use a tascam us1800 and the pod hd desktop.
I feed the hd tone into my tascam analog and spdif.
i have the spdif set to dry, and enable 2 tracks.
this way i can stick with the hd modeling if it suits me or use PF2 later if i prefer.
the only potential conflict i would see would be midi if you are trying to realtime control PF2.. even that could be worked out though.

DAW=digital audio workstation.
goldwave sounds like it's probably a DAW, just not a common or familiar one to me.

TheRealZap's post in Are Presets Interchangeable Between Hd500/500x And Hd Pro? was marked as the answer
yes dsp limit is the reason... 500 and pro are not a problem for the most part (the pro has different inputs so if that's not available on the 500 it wont work.)
never seen a side by side... or even an internal pic of the 500x...

TheRealZap's post in No Sound was marked as the answer
remove ASIO4ALL first... the line6 drivers are ASIO drivers.
i have no idea how to help with reason....
but have you checked the windows sound playback tab to make sure the GX is selected.
also go to the control panel and open the line6 audio midi applet, make sure that the right inputs are selected.

TheRealZap's post in How To Connect Floorpod To Amp And Guitar was marked as the answer
what you bought is not doubt a universal DC adapter (they all go from AC as thats whats in the wall socket)
this is correct for most things....
if you do not use the correct AC to AC adapter then you risk damage....
http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-4521
the link toneman gave you is correct.

whatever comes after it is likely summing it to mono...
-
TheRealZap's post in Reaper Disconnecting Gearbox? [x3 Live] was marked as the answer
okay... that information solves it....
you have whats called USB dropout.
Line6 has agreed to fix it for free regardless of warranty status (might be bulletin #52 i believe)
but you need to call a service center and get it fixed... its a hardware issue that you can't fix otherwise.
without the fix, the x3 works on some computers and not others... some operating systems and not others.... so your recent change is what made the hardware issue obvious.

TheRealZap's post in Model Packs Backup was marked as the answer
it permanent to your account, its always available... no real backup... since its not a real software... just a capability to unlock existing features.
