  1. Guys

I want to buy a Guitar Port with the old Line 6 logo. I don't know its date of manufacturing. The question is: do you recommend that purchase? Is it still functional that device? I've been looking for information on Line 6 site and they discontinued the Guitar Port. Is convenient? Thanks in advance for your answers.

  2. Oh Crud !

I seen the word SONG presets thinking they were songs we could JAM to, not STYLES

    ha ha

    Thanks,

I sent you an email too...   sorry to bug you!

Don't worry, we are here to help us each other. I expect the file could be useful for you and the rest.

  3. Wow. Thanks for all that work making that spread sheet...

I didn't know this Spider Jam amp had all those Song Presets.

I'm a new user and a old fart.  How do we access the Song Presets?

    Thanks again

Turn the wheel (Select Knob) or use the 4-way Navigation Button. The list of patches in file are orderer. Regards and don't hesitate question.

  4. I've read that a good input to use these kind of devices is "CD/MP3" input. Also, you can connect your pedal to "AUX" input. because guitar input ALWAYS has some effect.

I need to pitch the tune of the guitar as Jam Tracks or recordings, for example. In this way, we could avoid retune the guitar when we want to play some song of GN'R or Highway to hell, for example (these songs are tuned in Eâ™). I guess button FUNCTION 2 in FBV Shortboard MkII has no function available in Spider Jam and could be assigned for this.

I've created a suggest and a ticket with this issue. If you want to vote for this idea, this is the link: http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Pitch-tune-with-MkII/680202-23508.

In the ticket, Jon Brunner (a support guy that answer me) tells me that is not possible, but I think is a basic function, also included in Spider Jam, but to others functions (upper mentioned). So, I guess we can push to get a new firmware release that includes this improvement. Thanks to all in advance.

He encontrado 3 documentos al respecto:

Saludos.

Somebody knows how can we backup the tones in the user bank? Some guy suggest me record at least 6 seconds, no pulling the strings and that is the backup, but I don't know how can I get back the tone setup from a recording. Some ideas? I guess if this would be possible, will be a great way to backup tones and reset to factory defaults without risks AND SHARE TONES BETWEEN USERS, because in this page: http://line6.com/customtone/browse/spiderjam/ are just a few tones and values of FX Controls are not specified.

    Thanks in advance.

  8. Hi, a1terrier

I've tried to "clean" the Guitar input and it is impossible. Always your sound will be affected by a model amp, modeling or something. That is the reason because you must to use the Aux input if you want to hear the real sound of your guitar using an external pedal. I've read some opinions about and CD/MP3 input would be better to input these devices.

    Regards.

The user gary9605 post in a comment the link to Spider Amp Preset List. I have not account at Docstoc, but with the preview in full screen I've copied the 19 pages and did a .pdf file. And I want to share it with anybody who thinks is helpful. This is the link: Spider II-III-Jam Presets.

I've being checking the info and I still can't understand why Line 6 don't publish that kind of documents.

    Regards!

  10. I found an Excel spreadsheet with only the names an order of the presets. But, if you are looking for its configurations, I can´t find nothing about that. I still don't understand why Line 6 don't give that information or upgrades the list of user tones to play some popular songs.

    Regards.

There is no way to download tones from internet and load it to the SJ using SD card or any other way. You must to edit it manually. Looks here: http://line6.com/customtone/browse/spiderjam/. That is all that I found in internet about this issue. I am very disappointed about it too.
I've created one tone for each Amp Model, with the following values: Drive: 0, Bass, Mid, Treble in the middle, Chorus Flange: off, Delay: off and Reverb: off too. I guess is a good way to start to create tones by myself.

    Good luck!
