  1. As far as I know they haven't mentioned anywhere that they have any plans on this. However they actually included a Reverse Delay in 1.04, so there should be good reason to think that they would follow some of the ideas from IdeaScale, but who knows ? :p
  2. But then you would have to press both switches - Either it is now turned on, or the mix is not up ?
  3. Sorry. You have to change the split-block to "A/B" instead of "Y". When you do this you can change the routing through "controller assign"
  4. There is a solution, that might not be 100% what youre asking, but allmost. Sometimes you will need two stomps, but the sound change will come at once. I posted this solution to a guy asking for 4 amp-switching and you could do the same thing - just leaving out one amp and one switch. Open the link to see pic... (The link pic doesnt seem to work, but it is here: https://www.dropbox....mps.jpg?dl=0) The Green Switch select which one of the paths to use. The Red Switch selects which amp is used in path 1 The Blues Switch selects which amp is used in path 2 If you dont want to use three switches, you can combine the Blue and Red in one switch, but then you cant go from amp 1 to amp 4 without using two switches... If they are side by side, you might be able to hit them at the same time...
  5. Are they panned in the Merge-block, or havn't you touched that at all ? Something might be turned down there ?
  6. This can be done in this way: (The link pic doesnt seem to work, but it is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/oailz2gjmehafne/line6%204%20amps.jpg?dl=0) The Green Switch select which one of the paths to use. The Red Switch select amp in path 1 The Blues Switch selects amp in path 2 If you dont want to use three switches, you can combine the Blue and Red in one switch, but then you cant go from amp 1 to amp 4 without using two switches... If they are side by side, you might be able to hit them at the same time...
  7. My Guess is that he has an IR-cab in stead. What is it you are comparing to when saying it is not the same? - The HD models or the patch with both amps in path 1 ?
  8. If you look at the merge block (where the lines meet) You will probably see that each path is set to 50%... therefore, if you combine the two you have full volume, but if you have only one then you only have half the volume...
  9. Aah... Shure. Didn't think about it in that way. That makes totally sense! Thanks again :)
  10. Okay, the manual states that it crops all IR to 2048, if they are larger, but you would not rely on Helix for the cropping ? Of why are you concerned of the fade and so on - Just to be extra extra safe, or ?
  11. Thank you for you help on this subject - I see that I must find an aura for this purpose. There should not be any problem in using an IR that is longer than 2048 (or 1024) ? f.ex. my Computer tells me that the Wellknown Taylor IRs are 48kHz and have a duration of .029 sec that makes a sample-count of approximately 1400 which doesnt fit at all, but helix doesnt complain even though i am quite shure I loaded it as a 2048 in Helix' menu. Do you know anything about this? Or do we need a Line6 guy to step in ?
  12. A tremolo, that doesn't suck up your tone. Cool, Cool, to model effects after old specific models, but why isn't there a straight tremolo, that just changes volume without mud or deep umpf at every swell ? I really dont get it... It must be so easy to make... Thats lead me to the idea: Everything should be assignable to TapTempo - in this way you could make a tremolo from a Vol-block but you would also have en endless list of new innovative effects, that could lead to all sorts of cool things!
  13. Yeah, okay. And what i wrote is a result of just that - I got so annoyed by it that I stopped checking it out... :(
  14. Agree! It is ridiculous that you can't turn down one cab, to listen to a scroll on the other one...
  15. You could just send a sweep through the plugin/effect afterwards... Just as you did with the Aura...
  16. And is Bodylizer the only available plugin ? Is there nothing for Mac ?
  17. Thanks for your links. It should be possible to load the bodylizer-IR on a track in logic and send at sweep trough it and juse Impulse Response Tool to make a .wav-IR, Right ?
  18. Thank you! Actually I tried asking the same question on TGP and i got the exact same answer, but the thing is: I have spent hours and hours on trying to dig up those threads but somehow i cant find them and when i finally find something it is from 2004 and all links are dead - If your can find them, would you please share ? What is it you would describe in your blog post ? - The part with the Aura seems doable as it is same procedure as Reverb-IR, and that i can find guides for, but nothing on Body-IR :(
  19. Does anyone have experience on making IRs of acoustic guitars ? I really cant get my head around how it is done and what programmes to use. Can Anyone help me out ? Also - If anyone has the IRs from Fishman Aura and is willing to share i would be very happy... Or just any nice IRs - for some reason there are not thousands and thousands of them on the internet ? Best Magnus
  20. Well... Do you want effects on the backingtrack ? Otherwise there is no reason for you to use a path for these... If you setup Helix as your playback-engine it will come trough Helix... And you should be able to choose which output to send to...
  21. I think you have to be more specific ? What is your goal? Is FX 1, 2,... The same as FX 1, 2,... in the next path, or ?
  22. Why do you need all of it at the same time ? Is the whole band player through at the same time ?
  23. But you most deffinately can not run all those blocks at the same time. If you only run preamps (With out poweramp and cabs i might be able to run three amps, but you are suggesting multiple Pitch-shifting blocks and these are really heavy too. And to my knowledge there is no vocoder in the Helix ? - Is there ?
  24. AUTOPAN: If you load up a stereo tremolo you can dial in "spread" which makes it a panner...
  25. Danish/swedish 4sound has 5 units in total. One in DK: www.4sound.dk and 4 i SE: www.4sound.se
