  1. yes you are right... but they called me 1 week after they took it, and said that we couldn't identify the problem, i explained again and sent the record again, and they said that they understood the problem...Every week i called them but the tech guy hasn't got enough knowledge to solve this issue i think...Finally they said that they sent an email to Line6 for getting help, still waiting...
  2. My sound file was recorded through HD500 but in the store we checked the guitar just plugging into a guitar amp and it produced the same sound...It has been 1 month that the guitar is on the service but they found nothing yet...
  3. Has anyone been able to fix this problem? It still exists and it's really annoying... Do you know any JTV-89F owner that has no problem on their piezo??
  4. Yes, that's what i want, but i think you get me wrong...I don't want all the modelings to have high output....I think the modeling of jtv89 should sound like jtv89 mags..I was talking about only the JTV89 model that line6 introduced as a hi-gain guitar modeling... Do you think they are same? I don't think so, i think the jtv89 modeling is weak as compared to it's original mags. Are we ok now? ;)
  5. Totally what i am trying to explain, thank you ''FrozenOzone''..
  6. I think it is clear on my message that you quoted...I use heavy metal tones, the jtv-89f magnetic pickups do the job very well, but the modeling isn't successful, the guitar's own modeling doesn't sound like itself..Modeling should produce more gain/high-output/distortion(whatever you like to say) as it's magnetic pickups.
  7. Very good news..Please let us know about the situation, especially how to fix this problem...
  8. I will send sound samples to Line 6 too.. How do you send the records? I think i am not successful at pasting dropbox link..
  9. Everyone is writing for this same problem in this topic below..Please write and share with us on this link too, we are planning to see how many of jtv-89F's have this problem.. http://line6.com/support/topic/6764-do-you-have-the-same-problem-with-6th-string/
  10. I think your problem is a little different from ours if the noise disappeared by the change of software... My guitar doesn't make the ugly sound when it is unplugged.Maybe(don't get me wrong) it is not the same sound that you hear from the guitar when it is unplugged...When you change your strings and play the guitar without plugging to an amp, new strings have very specific metallic noises and this could be sounds similar to you, but this sound is actually different...
  11. There is another user on the forum, he has a jtv-89F too and his problem is on the 4th string. I asked him to write down here so they can follow us easily. The number is rising...
  12. They will help us if we make them to hear our problem, everyone raised a ticket to line 6 and send them an audio sample with also our topic's link so they can see us on the same page..Please raise a ticket and paste this link below too... http://line6.com/support/topic/6764-do-you-have-the-same-problem-with-6th-string/ And please write down your problem to this topic too...
  13. Do you have the same problem like us? Please check this topic, we uploaded some audio samples, if you have the same problem, please write down so we can all see how many people have this problem on their devices on the same topic. http://line6.com/support/topic/6764-do-you-have-the-same-problem-with-6th-string/
  14. You can listen to the sound example of mine on the first entry..I pasted a link and attached the file also to the page. If this is a common problem (we will see if there are other users have any similar problem), that makes me think maybe there is a faulty element on the device that makes this weird noise after using the device for a while... I am not sure if it was existing when i just bought from the store...
  15. I aggree all of your writings.. And i know a user ''badmelonfarmer'' has the same sound issue like us.. I don't know how many users have this problem...
  16. This is a small sample, i wish it can explain the problem... https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Variax-Pod%20Problem.mp3?_subject_uid=284387637&w=AAAGzN2xHaz4G6dWSau431PQVpLstKZGR6cv_id4lIyYSQ
  17. Software is 2.0..And no it's not about being able to get palm mute..If i play on 6th string there is a silly noise like i attached up on the page..But if i try on the 5th or 4th string there is no problem.. And i tried a same another guitar in the store, but there is no problem on that one.. I think about maybe the problem occurs after playing a while...
  18. I have uploaded a small sample of the problem..It is on the link before but i don't know hot to send it to you.. https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Variax-Pod%20Problem.mp3?_subject_uid=284387637&w=AAAGzN2xHaz4G6dWSau431PQVpLstKZGR6cv_id4lIyYSQ
  19. I have a jtv-89F and a while ago i started a topic and the problem still existing... When i play the guitar with it's magnetic pickups, everything is fine but when i activate the modeling, the 6th string starts to sound really weird.. This problem is very easy to notice on distortion tones and especially on palm mutings, it is hard to hear this problem on clean tones but i noticed that it is there for the clean tones too.. There are some guys have the same problem and some of them started a topic before, but noone can find anything about to fix this problem... --Lowering string volume on the workbench didn't work --Reinstalling the software didn't work --Changing strings(i use .46-.009 gauge) didn't work --There are no visible loose elements on the guitar This is the previous topic: There is a guy wrote that he has the same problem too.. http://line6.com/support/topic/5990-jtv-89-f-model-sound-issue/ This is the sound example: https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Variax%20Problem.mp3?_subject_uid=284387637&w=AABV86FI_iVvWXrcsJ8N_3iN9L8LKmWXCCwSb4PIvZOvSA I started to think that some of the variax users have the same problem but they try to find a way not to hear the noise...Please don't do that, let's try to find the cause of the problem.. Please write if you know how to fix this or even if you have the same problem too. Variax Problem.mp3
  20. I know, i'm talking about the hi-gain model isn't really hi-gain, i explained it before you can see on the top...And i am not talking about output volume, it's about the gain amount of the guitar produces..
  21. By the way, don't get me wrong, i am not unhappy, only saying the negatives of the software and guitar models (there is no hi-gain model)...I think the JTV guitars are really amazing but some features need to be corrected.
  22. And Line 6 shouldn't say that pod hd500 can change the guitar models then if i will try to find a noiseless way to change em up and do all the work manually..Accept that it is a problem, i don't hung up on how i can find a way, i said that the software has an issue and they should be aware of it, that's all..The point is if you don't use this feature, you won't but if line 6 said that you will be able to change presets and models with pod hd500, i would expect to do it correctly.
