  1. Hi. Today, I've received a brand new Amplifi TT. I've installed it updated it via Bluetooth, downloaded the Amplifi ASIO Driver through the software page of this site and installed it, then I downloaded and installed the free version of Cubase LE 8 which came with the product. Now I have a major problem : there's no sound coming out of my PC speakers. I looked into the Device Setup. ASIO Amplifi is the default audio driver. Then I checked the VST Connections. In the inputs section, the Amplifi is selected by default. Everything is normal here. But in the outputs section, I've noticed that the Amplifi is also selected by default, right where my speakers should be (as seen on the picture, hence Cubase staying silent no matter what I do), and there's no other option in the drop-down menu. My question is : is there a way to "install" my speakers system in the outputs section, to get some sound out of this Amplifi, or do I need to plug some other cables in (it's just plugged on USB right now) ? This may sound like a stupid question, but I'm still a beginner when it comes to recording. Anyway, thanks in advance.
  2. Hi, I have an Amplifi TT and I am using the android app to connect to the amp. My questions is that how do I set a Bank to the amp other than Bank 1 When my amp is paired, I can access the hardware screen In the screen I can see 25 banks I can select the individual tones that I want from the screen but how can I assign a specific bank to the amp When I assign a tone via the hardware screen and then use the physical tone button on the amp to switch It goes to the back to the tones on bank 1 Is this not possible through the android remote app? Thanks
  3. Just bought a Amplifi TT and I've been asking a bunch of question on this forum while I'm all antsy waiting for it to arrive. Could I use the "AMP Out" port on this thing to plug it into a physical guitar pedal and then go from that into a physical speaker cabinet? I was thinking about doing this with my volume pedal to simulate having it be the last item on a pedal board instead of the first.
  4. I use a 10" Android tablet on stage, mounted conveniently on my mic stand. It's loaded with all the band's music (40+ arrangements (and getting bigger), chords and lyrics). This needs just a touch to move from one song page to the next. I also have a Line 6 Spider IV 75 amp which has several different tones in the user banks for different songs. Even though I have set the amp up as efficiently as possible in the set running order, it's a pain (and unprofessional) turning my back to the audience to change the setting - more so when the amp is on the backline and I'm at the front of the stage. I've thought about using one of the FBV boards but I think this would be almost as bad as I'd be always staring down at the floor to change the amp settings. With the release of the new Amplifi TT, which, I gather, has wireless connectivity, I was wondering if, with a suitable app, the Amplifi TT could be mounted on top of, and used in conjunction with the SpiderIV so that I could control the amp tone settings from the tablet. Ideally, I'd want an icon on the song page that I could just touch and which would remotely change the amp to the required tone setting. Can this be done with the Amplifi TT connected to a Spider IV? If not, how could it be done?
  5. Can anyone tell me, Is it possible to take a tone from the amplifi TT cloud and download that tone to the Pod HD Pro X? Thanks In Advance
  6. Hello can we connect directly the amp out output from the AMPLIFI TT to the guitar input of a valve guitar amplifier (e.g. Marshall type)? Basically using the tone functionality of the amplifi TT but the speaker output of a guitar amp. thanks Michael
  7. Hello, Trying to connect via USB my new AMPLIFI TT to my Computer (Dell XPS, Windows XP). The USB drivers are not found, my system searches for CtrlPipe and MsgPipe. Any clue where I can find these and how to install them? Thanks! -Patrick
  8. I'm a current Dream Rig owner (JTV-69, HD500, DT25) and I'm thinking the TT is an ideal in-studio recording and practice unit. I've got a small studio and can't leave the HD500 out all the time, and I'd like to take advantage of the tone-matching in the Amplifi unit, which I can use to inform my programming of the HD500 if I take a tune to a gig. With the USB output (or stereo analog out to my recording unit) I can put the TT in my rack, use it for outboard effects for recording and tone matching for practicing. I could instead get a HD Pro (expensive, no tone matching or cloud, but compatible patches with the 500), or a used XT Pro (no tone matching, same models, but less of them, can be controlled from my mac, but a legacy product.) Or, if I spent just $75 more, I could get an Amplifi 75, then have a second amp, but it wouldn't record without micing. What would you do?
  9. The holidays are coming up and I'm considering buying myself an amplifi TT. I heard it has android support now whereas it used to be iOs exclusive. Since android doesn't use iTunes I was wondering if my spotify music libraby will work with the amp's play-along feature. Thanks in advance for any and all answers!.
